Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

Just got 7-0 and 1.1k on Blackbelly with the Inkbrush.

For brush users on that level, controlling the center tower gives you the ability to toss sprinklers pretty much right into the enemy base and jump straight down to demolish anyone who even tries to break out of the base. Protip for holding the tower, as soon as you get up there throw down a sprinkler and hide in the ink, unless they instrike you out they're going to be eating damage from 2 directions if they try and climb up to take you out.

Yeah, that's probably my favorite ranked map right now. Even better if you have a skilled charger on your team
 
Anyone find success with the Pablo in ranked? As in solid winrates in the higher ranks. Are there any rotations you straight up avoid?

Haha...I swear that was for the Toad game, but I keep getting PMs about drinking my own urine. If the NPDs come back, it's a bonafide hit, and someone can point me to where I said I'd drink my urine for Splatoon, then I guess I'll have to drink.
 
Oh, 1 match where there were 3 Brushes on my team VS 4 guns? Well, guess who got to B- and went down to C+ again...

...fuck these people!

If you have fast reaction speed and some ink on the ground in front of you, when see a dynamo roller about to use their big wind-up attack you just can just squid under their roller and attack them from behind. I did it once and it was the sickest thing ever.

Arowana Mall Splat Zones is fun when you have a charger, roller, or long range shooters on your team. If you don't have at least one of those...then good luck.
 
Got a disconnect error after playing 10 or so games absolutely fine. Problem on my end or is Splatoon occasionally doing stuff like that?

Well I got into the groove with the Rolla in Ranked

Went from C-(30) to B(40) on the rotation. Now expect a lot of loses and finally ending up in C yet again.

K so aerospray continues to be my primary and dual squelcher is my secondary.

Maybe I should pick a non range weapon for three...maybe. Chargers are too tough to aim...

I still don't know exactly how the scoring works in ranked. Do you get a penalty if you have captured the zones and then get them taken from you?

The final score doesn't include the penalty, right?
 
Oh man, we get rocked all match and go into overtime with about 40 points left and the other team at 1... and win. I wish I had a camera feed of the other team's reaction.
 
The final boss is really something else indeed. But I mostly die because I'm impatient or careless in my moves. I'll have another go at it tomorrow.
