Been killing people in one shot a bit below 3/4 charge for a while now with the splatterscope, damage up is so useful
People just decide to believe some limited bullshit "study" on r/splatoon and decide damage up isn't useful, which is hilarious
Well when you rank up you get straight to 30 so it evens out.

.52 gal deco is the best Splat Zones thing I've found for holding Skatepark 
Absolutely wrecked the other team. Kills fast, keeps the zones inked and the suicide bomb tactic with the runup point blank seeker makes it so easy to reclaim the tower. Got to the point where I actively went and perched on the OTHER team's guard rail because we had completely secured both zones. I was preventing their team from coming back into play

I hear there are 2 tailors and brands matter. I've been trying to hit single player for scrolls and pushing a bit in multiplayer. Got to rank c level 12. Anyhow whats all this brand and tailor stuff?

Yep they are. It definitely is the brand but it still is slightly annoying I got that unlucky haha.

So all the gear has a brand associated with it. The brands give a 5x chance for a specific sub ability and a 1/2 chance for another. Each brand is different.
Here is a guide for those curious.

I don't know much about that either because I'm 19 so I can't reroll stuff yet, but some of the gear is from a particular brand, and each brand has a sub-ability that it favors (when rerolling, or just when leveling up) and another that has a smaller chance.
I got no clue about tailors though.

Can't you use multiple Damage Ups to splat even earlier with the Squiffer? Haven't been able to actually test it though.
