Went to Pittsburgh one last year. Showed up about an hour before they let us in and we were like two dozen people back in line.

Went to Portland showing last year, about an hour early, maybe a hair more and I was like 50 back in the line. No place to hide from the sun either so all these nerds were sweating which brewed up an extra potent dose of B.O. that I noticed was filling the theater when I took a bathroom break. It was like an hour in and the thing smelled bad already?

Makes you wonder how they air out a movie theater. I don't think opening the emergency exit doors was going to cut it.

They capped the guaranteed seats at 80% of capacity. The remaining seats will go to people on the wait list. Arrive early and get in the wait list line. You'll likely be able to get in

The fact that you can still get on the wait list makes me feel like 1hr or so should be good enough to be able to get in.

Depends purely on location aka how busy it is. If you got on the waitlist at near midnight it's probably one of the less busy locations so an hour should be okay in theory.

i got there an hour early and had waiting list tickets

there was maybe like 20-30 people in waiting line

I second what Ahdurian said from what I seen last year if you get there 45 mins Early you should be fine last year had tickets too but from what I remember every one got to sit

I haven't gotten the updated email. I did call eventgrid on Friday, and the guy I spoke with said that as lng as I have a confirmation number, I should be good to go.

I'm still not 100% convinced that I'm getting in though...

I believe it was at the City North 14 last year (I didnt go last year), I think the River North listing was a mistake, I was going to call both locations a couple days before to be sure.
