The Guardian: The Last Guardian will be at E3

Well like I needed to be more hyped for E3 than I already am. I never look forward to mondays, but this one needs to come fast.

I'll believe it when they see it. The Guardian should have kept their damn mouth shut and let us be surprised. Better than hyping up something only to have it not happen.

I'm pretty sure you aren't obliged to post or even enter threads you don't like/aprove.

But hey, your TOS might be different. Who knows.

Edit: oops! Quoted the wrong post! So sorry. It was meant' for Roxus post.

It's been done

That's Brian Crecente

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was the only one saying such horrible horrible things in those fourteen hundred responses. I'll go away now.

Can we please ban last guardian threads outside of the official one until Sony shows something for the game. These threads get to be tiring.

What is it that bothers you, reading the thread title when you refresh the gaming section?

Is it reading the posts inside a thread you want mods to ban but still posted in?

Nah, I don't mind them but we have this thread going from last year.

At this point we might as well concentrate all the news into one thread unless a substantial source from Sony steps in to confirm it or we get some leaked screens. Until then I treat it as the same song and dance until I actually see something.

People said the same about DNF, look how great that turned out

DNF was a game product of a very specific era. It was meant to fail, and fail miserably after all the years that passed by. There is no space for that kind of game to succeed anymore. Ueda/Ico games are intemporal. Sure TLG might be a bad game, though I don't believe that will be the case. It will be nitpicked and every failure small as it might be will be fuel for jokes and criticism for countless threads. But in the end it will be a good game. Sony would have it cancelled if it wasn't a good game. Mind that I am not saying that it will be a blockbuster in terms of sales, Ico team games never were, but it will be a critics darling.

Not sure whether I'd want Sony to shoot this down if we're all getting our hopes up for nothing or just keep quiet and wait and find out... Was already excited (as I always am for E3) but my hype is through the roof atm.
I guess we'll see but I'm more of a believer now than I have been previous years. Roll on Monday!

If I were Sony I would just start the conference with the announcement. That way no matter what is announced or how much the stage presenters fuck up, nobody cares. Plus GAF gets taken out in one fell swoop.

but there is no doubt the expectations for this game and the likes of XV are high considering both games super long development time. There is bound to be criticism (if) when they both finally see the light of day/release.
