Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

And I resurge again from the bottom of the ocean to play some splatoon~
I added everyone that friend me, but only heng is online atm :P

How I would translate it:

If you listen to this tune it's heaven. Sing it, Sukhavati. It's the song that everybody knows, Salted Fish Time!

Yes, I basically turned one sentence into three, sue me.

thanks sharky.

Grammatically, what does 聴けば天国歌えば極楽 actually do? I know it's [verb conditional][noun] [verb conditional][noun], but I don't really understand how to interpret it other than... just putting one after the other as if it were てform or something.

The ではなく also threw me, I thought that always had to have a だけ before it...

I'm really tired of my team blocking my shots... I wish it went through them or maybe have teammates that don't charge into an area blindly and gets both of us killed.

Level 20 MAX

Got a long stream of just awful teammates tonight but there are quite a few matches I'm proud of and contributed a lot to

oh, shit. I wonder if we'll get all the maps on the trailer by that Splatfest. That would be three more this Friday (Bluefin Depot, Kelp Dome, Strategy Guide Tower Control Map). That'd only leave us one or two maps that we know about (Camp Triggerfish, potentially another Tower Control Map in the strategy guide though it might be the same as the one shown) and 3-4 maps we don't know about (there were going to be 9 maps as post-launch content iirc).
Can you PM me the bolded?

Didn't know they had some maps in the guide regarding Tower Control.

EDIT: Nvm, it is the same image with the weapons. The maps there are Camp Triggerfish and the map I just posted an image of.

Oh and about the translation discussion, the salted fish part is Shiocolors, the name of the Squid Sisters in Japanese. The rest of that line is the same as what
Cap'n Cuttlefish says during the final battle when their song comes on

Jintor, I added you but I don't think you checked your requests yet.

did you add gaf in the message? i auto-delete anything that doesn't have it. otherwise i haven't played since yesterday, so if you sent it in the last 15 hours or so i haven't seen it probably.

Wait, in that case... what's the name of the song? Is it "If you hear it heaven, if you sing it, paradise"? Or is it just not named at all and they're just saying "This music... if you hear it, it's heaven, if you sing it, paradise... everybody knows it... it's Squid Sisters Time!"

Why the fuck are people still jumping into their death on A when your behind. If it didn't work the last 100 times you tried this the odds are pretty high it won't work this time either. Jeez christ.

So I like how I join a random match and then 5 matches later it turns in to a gaf lobby.

Feel free to add me. NNID: Xetehlol

Crazy how many people I see disconnect and people talking about disconnecting because I'm from Alaska and my ping is probably on average waaaay worse.

After spending most of the night struggling with the jet sqelcher and .96 gal, I bought the ink brush to give it a try.

Won almost every match after that; led my team on every win.

I think I've found the weapon that matches my play style. Brush ninjas, help me to learn your ways.

AFAIK it's just a style thing and they're just listing them. It's different than te-form though because it's not sequential. Just "If you do that it's this and if you do that other thing it's this other thing." I could be wrong but I'm 90% sure that's it.

Finally approved to post after months of waiting! Added myself to the list in the OP, my NNID is DORK94, would love some people to play with!

I'm surprised when I hear people say they don't like Splat Zones - I don't think I've played more than 2 games of Turf War since I hit Level 10, and the only people I have to play with is randoms.

Oh and this is why I hate Japanese.

-Ninja squid and ink resistance are a must. Ninja for being able to escape and get behind people. Ink resistance since you live and die by ink placement for movement and sometimes you gotta go through enemy ink for that. After that probably ink saver and ink refills are good since brush runs out quickly.
-Only use the roller mode to traverse unpainted and enemy painted areas quickly, otherwise spam ZR to paint.
-Try to avoid all combat unless you see a way to sneak behind them, otherwise you'll usually die/trade the kill.
-Brush does maximum damage at the brush portion, which is usually 3 swipes. Any closer or farther and you'll be looking at 4 swipes or more.
-Spinklers can be a great way to lay down some ink far away to give you a squid ninja stealthing path.
-Paint paint paint. Outside of maybe Aerospray, brush is probably the fastest painting weapon in the game.

I can attest to that

I don't lag in splatoon do I?

It is still sent out to you. I should appear as Raxus as my nickname.
