After playing the game online my initial joy discovering the many facets of this games mechanics has now turned to frustration and annoyance, that fcking roller is overpowered as fuck,not when ppl roll it, but ppl who are good and jump and flick the paint at you for a split second then disappear under the ink using ninja perk is just maddening as hell

My experience with it is that you want enough Damage Ups so you can OHKO with roughly half charge.

No way, it's one of the best. There's a reason why Splat Zones is filled with an abnormal amount of rollers, particularly Krak-on Rollers.

Before you do, play with the Squiffers for a few games, then play with the Splat or Kelp Chargers for a few more games. Then go to the E-Liter for however many games you want. But then go back down to the Splat/Kelp Charger and tell me it doesn't feel like a Squiffer after getting used to the slow charge time of the E-Liter. =P

The E-Liter is the most tempting charger on paper, but trying to pick it up directly was brutal in my few attempts. I am feeling the call to study the way of the charger and shall follow the path above.

The inkbrush is my favorite weapon in this game, only downside to it I'd say the fact, for me anyways, it makes my hand get tired. It's also alot of fun to get the ink strike and using it at the last second of the match, I have won a few turfwars this way.

So, being from Finland, I often play with Japanese players. Stayed up long tonight and got to American only Turf Wars. Only tried three games in different lobbies, but boy did those non-kanji players suck! I should try ranked at night time!

If you plan on using the catwalks at all on the new map, consider wearing a set with run speed up. 2 primary slot run speed ups is about a 26% run speed boost which could really give you an advantage up there while you're exposed.

I think snipers will be having a field day up on the catwalks and rollers will probably want to stick to the ground. Leave kraken at home for Kelp Dome.

That brush user should be ashamed. To have gotten less than 600 (when you lose) is unacceptable....Nah jk, but seriously I only use the ink brush I always get at least 800-900 when I lose. Once I got 1200 when I lost.

The people I face that use your weapon and have the splat wall as sub ability usually pick one of the two upper lanes and just hold it, I can't do shit. If the coast is clear spray paint on the zone from above since you do have some range on your weapon. Also you're in a safe position for your teammates to use you as a superjump location. Be wary of snipers playing from angles you are exposed to.

I have a confession to make. Some shitty Japanese Charger came to hog the tower I was manning on the Skatepark essentially only managing to be in the way of my shots. Then I returned the favor in kind by doing the same to him. Turns out he was trying to snipe DaBoss or some other GAF sniper that in turn got a nice double kill right there. Kind of 50% felt bad afterwards.

It was me, you were owning me that game too I couldn't take you off that tower and then I saw both of up there and went for it and bam double kill

The Jr. can have issues with rollers that aren't braindead due to having one of the shortest shooting ranges in the game. I recommend trying a weapon with longer range and see how that goes.

out of curiosity, do you use Ink Saver (Sub)? On my one sad attempt to learn the E-Liter I couldn't spam nearly as many bombs before I ran out of ink. And I think it takes like 3 or 4 direct hits to kill someone with the bombs

It should be 2 direct hits with the bombs to splat and about 4-5 indirect hits to splat. I considered using Ink Saver Sub, but the E-Liter itself uses a ton of ink. By the way, a fully charged E-Liter can get about 30 points max per charged shot and the Splat Charger can get about 23 points max charged. There's definitely something off with that, especially since the roads can be wide and long.

I played the roller the way Red was at one point. Skies hated me for it. =P

I agree with run speed up. However, Charger play is stupid risky on the catwalks. I'm pretty sure nearly every weapon can still hit you.
