I heard it got closed because you weren't gonna man up and follow through on your bet.

You guys are an army of many. I and the other guy are an army of a nation. We will be victorious.

Of course if we are defeated, we will do so with honor.

E3 Predictions I am interested in.

The Last Guardian will NOT appear at E3.
Ryu will be announced for Smash
Halo 5 Campaign Footage OnStage

I missed the Oculus livestream, is the full thing up anywhere and is it worth watching?

http://www.twitch.tv/oculus/v/6062122

Archive of today's stream and... eh? Personally I thought it was kind of a train wreck but Palmer, his sandals, and his bracelets were pretty cool (except no demonstration :\ )

Is the gif reversed or is she going in reverse?

Or do I need to get my eyes checked?

haha yeah, I reversed it so she looked over at the end of the segment instead of the beginning ;)

Wow, even Scalebound now is missing E3. MS sounds really confident about their lineup. QB, Crackdown and Scalebound are three of the top titles that are giving their lineup a better variety.

I'm now wondering what we'll see from them besides Battletoads and the Rare game. Since they're saying the focus is on first party's there should be more than that, because with 3 already known missing games (where gameplay trailers/demos were expected) there is a hole to fill.

Here's what I think we'll see from MS:

  • Open with Halo 5 Campaign Demo. Part from Chief's perspective and part from Locke's perspective.
  • Brief reveal of the new Halo 5 Multiplayer Mode. Playable on the show floor.
  • Halo Reach in the MCC
  • Forza 6 Trailer
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider Demo and Release Date
  • Fable Legends Trailer and Release Date
  • Dragon Age Inquisition Expansion Announcement (First on Xbox)
  • Joe Montana 2016 Announcement Trailer (Xbox Exclusive)
  • Gears Ultimate Edition Announcement Trailer. 1080p 60FPS and Dedicated Servers. August/September Release.
  • Battletoads Announcement Trailer (Available Now? If not then in September)
  • Rare's new game is a Banjo Platformer. GAF loses its shit. Jontron uploads a reaction video that gets flagged for being too pornographic.
  • Indie Game Montage
  • Rainbow Six Siege Gameplay Demo
  • The Division Gameplay Demo
  • Final Words from Phil Spencer. 1TB Xbox One MCC Bundle formally announced.
  • One last thing=Gears 4 Trailer. Holiday 2016 Releasee. Beta with Gears Ultimate.

Sounds like about enough for a 90 Minute Conference. And has MS ever gone over?

That is probably accurate. Just some things to add

I think that the Gears remaster is for next year and Gears 4 is 2017.
Dont think Rare's game is Banjo or even a 3D platformer.
We probably will see Twisted Pixel and Press Play games and maybe even Lionhead new IP (First party studios)
Also PvZ GW 2 will be there

Still a great conference but those 3 games are huge for the Xbox One

Gears 4 would be guaranteed fall 2016,by then it'll have a 2 and half year development time, possibly more.

No chance with those dates.

The latest the new gears game will be released is holiday season 2016.

Gears remaster I wouldn't be surprised if they hit us with an "available now"....

If they did , that would win E3 for me.

While I like watching E3 I can't get excited about games due for release in 2016. Like ratchet and Clank, looks awesome, loved most of the games released on the ps3 but april 2016 is too long to get hyped about it, I've got a shit load of months before then to find games to play.

We get a Kojima edited trailer on Monday.

You guys still think it shows at the Sony presser or do we see it first on Geoff's youtube thing?

No way they are testing Gears Remaster like they are for a 2016 launch

Maybe Gears 4 is a Holiday 2016 game, but if they want to sell this remaster they sould not launch on the holidays of this year. If its a available now/next monh game sure. Other than that its not a very smart move.

We'll see

There's a HUGE Gears fan base, a remake alone would move consoles.

So, anyone else thinking Minecraft VR shows up at Microsoft's conference? I believe they will want to talk about Minecraft and with the Oculus thing today, I'm wondering if that's in the pipeline.

Maybe, but lets use Halo MCC situation last year.

That remaster collection has 4 games in it, of a bigger franchise and had a beta for what is one of the three biggest games of 2015. That game was the biggest exclusive for XOne that year as well. It sold well, something around 1million in a week and probabl sits around 2 maybe 2,5 million now.

Now think about a Gears Remaster, that is only one game of a smaller franchise and if you considering only Xbox exclusives, that game will already be behind on marketing and potential sales of Halo 5 and maybe Rise of The Tomb Raider. And also there is Battlefront, Rainbow6 and maybe Fallout 4 around.

Why not save that game for spring or summer 2016? I think that is a smart move.

You make very good points.

Something inside my head (yeah good source) tells me gears remaster is NOT going to launch too late in the year. At the latest it would be September I think.

Unless they try and go all out and try and push tomb raider, halo, gears and Forza during the same period, but I don't think that's a good idea.

I'd always personally have a good game released every month, than a shit load during the same period.

I agree with that.

Just dont know if the release is that imminent.
But if its a July-September game it will sell well.

Drawn to death been show right now

Looks really cool

I'm actually kinda worried that Scalebound, Quantum Break and Crackdown won't be at E3. Maybe because I have a hard time believing given some past E3s(not just Microsoft) that they would really have something I would like better than seeing those three in action.

I mean, those being gone means there is no goddamn excuse for them spending 10 minutes on a new Kinect Sports(not that they will, just that I will be super angry if they do now).

My guess for Gears is that they release the first game in August/September, Gears 2 in January, then 3 in the Summer. All digitally, but with signifigant TV promotion.

Lets them build up hype for the brand, while avoiding another MCC disaster.

25 minutes of Windows 10 on Xbox One

IGN stream schedule seem to indicate a 1h30 Sony conference and 1h Square-Enix conference. These seem awefully short. Or have these schedules been proven not to be any real indication before?

I'm pretty sure they are estimates. Sony is usually late and even then it tends to run over 1hr 30mins. Last years was about 1hr 45 mins.

I think I saw somebody else post that Sony always schedules for an hour and a half and then goes over.

Edit: Beaten

Still no official word on Destiny The Taken King being at the show.

Just tossing it out there.... what if its at Microsoft and its a mini betraylaton or case of co marketing switcharoo where Sony gets COD and MS gets Destiny this year.

Or ya know...Maybe we get word tomorrow and Activision wants to break the official reveal before the weekend to be the last out the door before E3 starts for reals.
