Still hoping they drop the megaton "Rock Band 3 exports are in!" on stage at e3.
"All songs from Rock Band 3, plus Enter Sandman, Battery, Any Way You Want It, and the original master version of Paranoid!"

Makes sense for MS to do that.If Microsoft were smart, they'd make it happen at theirs. Touting the platform family exportability and legacy instruments might be a big factor for 360 users on the fence of upgrading to one of the current gen consoles. I mean, it would be big for either Sony or Microsoft, but since MS is behind, they have much to gain, considering the amount of casuals who haven't bought into this gen yet and love their Rock Band.

While that would be all kinds of awesome I think that that's setting expectations a little high haha"All songs from Rock Band 3, plus Enter Sandman, Battery, Any Way You Want It, and the original master version of Paranoid!"

Fucking hell, and I thought the origina RB1l band in a box was expensive, this dwarfs it by about £60-£70!
No thanks.
This is cheaper... Band in a Box was £180, and then the game on top for £40
I got the original BiaB for between £130-£140 shortly after launch (A couple of weeks after), without the game of course. Perhaps I got a bloody good deal back then?

Yup. RRP was £180, I imagine the same will happen here, this is just the first retailer with the price up, once others start competing it will go down a bit
No it wasn't, it was £110. I just checked my email for my order back in 2008.
... I know it's only box art, but something about seeing it there on Amazon makes me even more excited for the game than I already was.
Hmm, wonder why the change from the traditional "blue" theme that is on the mainline Rock Band games. (1, 2, 3)... Not that it's a bad thing. I think the box art looks pretty good, actually. I imagine this listing jumped the gun a bit and we'll get all this information (release date, pricing, etc.) at E3. Just a matter of when at E3.
Ouch... That's almost 400 Canadian dollars. Maybe no full band set for me.![]()
No way in hell they would price it that much. Probably gonna be $200 US, $250 CDN $280 tops.

God I hope the full set doesn't run me more than $250. (though I imagine GCU will save me a bundle here) Especially since I'm also considering picking up GH Live, and that guitar likely won't even be compatible.
Worst case scenario, at least the old shit is compatible.
As for E3, my guess is Rock Band on Sony, GH Live on XBox.
I would flip those and say Rock Band on Microsoft's stage so they can really drive home the point that DLC doesn't travel across networks with how many people bought a ton of Rock Band songs on the 360.
60 some tracks doesn't sound bad. In general the PR draft sounds great. Lack of online at launch will likely hurt sales some, but at the same time as long as they can announce online will come at some point it won't hurt them to much, and it's not like a number of people won't wait until it's cheaper to get anyways.http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...ndle_BC_05.29.15.docx+&cd=1&hl=es-419&ct=clnk

I can see Harmonix getting a very small section at Sony's that was similar to their presences at Microsoft's last year just because they could at least have 2 games to talk about (Amplitude and Rock Band).I'm gonna guess guitar hero at microsoft (more fitting for the demographic) and that rock band won't be at either (it's not published by a big publisher and it's not small enough to give sony indie cred)
Grabbing an Xbox One with the all instruments bundle as transferring all the DLC I bought would be cheaper to buy an Xbox for than to rebuy on PS.
Fucking READY

I don't think I've ever played Rock Band online. It's always been with friends.
I wonder if there is any possibility of a Dance Central 4.. which would land them with MS. Monday is going to be awesome... for all gamers.
I believe that's been known for a few weeks
No, it's been speculated given a weird answer from Sussman, but now I am leaning towards it being a thing (no online on launch).
Same. I just don't see the point, even if the people you're playing with online are friends.
Meanwhile entire nights were planned around local multi many times.
