The Last Guardian began development in 2007. I was in fourth grade at the time. When it was announced I was just exiting sixth grade. I just now graduated from high school about a month ago. It's taken around half of my public school life for this game to come out if it's shown and released this year. Come on Sony! I've been wanting this game since its announcement. It's now or never at this point.

waiting for the "never" =(

You're making me feel old :(

You'll finish university by the time Half Life 3 comes out!

I will at least.

I still remember the first time I played SOTC. I went to the store and picked up the OPM issue with the demo just to get a taste for the game and was blown away. After beating the heck out of the demo and then the retail copy, I followed various fan boards for years and spent a lot of time goofing around trying to glitch the game in various ways. I even got a gorgeous Japanese poster, numbered and autographed by Ueda, from Sony;

Then I got a copy of Ico from a friend and fell further in love. I bought a secondary Playstation 3 in anticipation for TLG, thinking my modded PS3 would have firmware issues or would have overheated and died by the time the game launched. That was so many winters ago.

I since sold that secondary PS3 when the current generation came about. I purchased the HD collection and have been meaning to play it for years, but I've felt a bit jaded with all the delays. Now I have a Playstation 4. My body is ready, E3 2015, pls. Really itching for a reason to play that HD version without having a sad.

When XV then VSXIII was announced a year earlier in 2006 someone was in 8th grade. When it releases, HS, College and Grad school will be complete.

just wait for TGS

they'll definitely show it there

it's a japanese game it makes more sense to show it at a japanese event

Yes, show it to the smallest market that will sell the least copies of the game.....

Japan is no longer relevant for massive reveals. As of what a couple months ago Japan only counts for (roughly 1.5 mil PS4's probably now) less than or equal to 10% of their sales.

if it's not at tgs they'll show it at gamescom

sony is huge in europe

it makes sense to keep the biggest games back for the european market

I could see Europe, but Japan is really small. I wouldn't be surprised if Persona 5 in Europe or US destroys Japan in sales.

if it's not at gamescom, it'll be at the next e3 for sure

team ueda just needs more time

it makes sense to show it next year when it's good and ready
