Les enfants terribles,

Oh, I guess I skipped the last few seconds.
Well, okay I guess. Why not.

Dunno. That seems like a conference closer and I imagine a demo of Battlefront will be the closer

I bet we will see something Mass Effect related, a pretty CGI trailer (and gameplay) for Battlefront and Mirror's Edge.
Obviously some Episode 7 stuff for SWTOR, regardless of how little sense that makes and maybe something about Visceral's game?

Ehh Battlefront is already announced so I feel like they'd save the closer for a bombshell like new Mass Effect. Plus, I bet Sony will have a demo of Battlefront at their conference so I could see EA not spending too much time on it.

Yeah, but they haven't shown it play yet and with the movie coming out this year, Battlefront stands a chance to be the highest selling game this year.

Its only competition right now is Fallout.

For everyone praising Fall Out 3 for pioneering mods on consoles, remember that Epic did it with Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3. Here is the official (but unofficial) hub for those mods. http://www.ut3mod.com/

Look! Halo maps on PS3!

He's just anxious to see the Metal Gear trailer!

EDIT -
I asked Dan on Twitter a few hours ago and he said he tried to get them to do it! Maybe they didn't want to take away from Geoff's exclusive.

Yeah I can imagine that being the case, but still >_< I know Dan would lvoe it if they all covered it together.

Loving Austin so far, the Beastcast has given me a reason to listen to a GB podcast again and he's been good on the talkovers so far.

Am I missing the parts in the Bungie Halo games where Cortana went rampant? Or is Jeff just pulling a Dan and just turning into mega troll about it?

Also I think Jeff will like it alot, he's mentioned he didn't like the realistic tones of MGS1/3, and that the wackiness of MGS2/4 is what Drew him in.

I think it will be GotY

I'd be surprised to see them play Peace Walker.

The mission structure would be really conducive to the format (no more 2 hours of drew failing a boss fight) but all the menu management stuff would be pretty boring to watch. It could go either way, but Peace Walker is super important to the story in GZ and TPP.

I just went back to see what their 2008 goty was and look at this friggin list:

We let you inside our GOTY deliberation process as we debate the relative merits of Burnout Paradise, Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War 2, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Dead Space, Braid, Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, and Fable II.

what a year for video games 2008 was. Goddamn.

I think there is at the very least a Mass Effect trailer at EA's conference. Their "here's a video of us showing concept art of the Mass Effect game we're working on, we have no clue what its about or anything but we know we're doing a space thing again" last year was beyond disappointing. Granted EA's entire conference last year was a total waste of time, so this one can't be any worse.

They're showing it at GDC.

Isn't it Gamescom?
