As someone who got into FF with FF8 on the PSX and fell in love with the series but is still yet experience FF7 this is pretty much my dream announcement and I'm sure the dream announcement of many here.

Yeah, in 12 years maybe? I don't believe this at all, but if it were true, I'd expect either Square just says they're doing it or they show some BS footage obviously from the PS3 tech demo because they have absolutely nothing to show right now.
