It's still a little stilted. Like, nobody ever says "take point."

It's certainly more natural than the division stuff.

edit: Jeff is right. The problem with games like this is that you totally need a group of friends to enjoy them. Even meeting up with people on GAF to play, you still get that stress of "I dont want to fuck this up and I hope nobody else does either,"

Feel like I'm the only one who likes the way they talk in the division, when they first showed the game I thought it was the in-game voice acting and really liked it..

Yeah, this doesn't come off as fake.

Dota isn't the same kind of game but also the same case in which communication is important.

yeah, like the repeated callouts, that's common in moba games. Like in League they'll do team replays and it's like 'ANNIE ANNIE ANNIE NOW GET VARUS VARUS VARUS'.

Even Destiny has some of that.

It's very clear what they're trying to do, less "pass this off as real" and more "tell a story about this group of players," but it still comes across as really stilted and unnatural.

it's not BAD but its like...i dunno.

Now I'm starting to wonder if Nadeo paid Lirik and a few of the other big streamers the past two weeks to hop on Trackmania 2. Was damn surprised to see TM2 have 40k twitch viewers last weekend, and now this announcement.

Ubi pulling back from that painful Dance Central bit and tophat guy pretty well. Don't care about AC personally, but at least it's something somebody will want to play.
