Yeah, even though I'm interested in Morpheus I'm not sure how well it'd demo in this kind of setting and with impatience at these things so I hope it's not "overly too much" but that we get good details, especially with some kind of real confirmed games announcements.
You could be right. Though I think they seemingly have too many games to cover for it to take up too much space.

In all seriousness though Crash Bandicoot comes up a lot when talking to very casual gamers so people definitely remember the series with fondness and it did sell very well back in the day.

Crash was never at that level as Jurassic Park. I don't think that there is anything in Sony's Ip pool that would make people lose their shit except Gran Turismo. Sony will definitely continue their wish fulfillment strategy that they have been on for a while. But I don't think people want a $60 Crash game. At ten for $15 sure.

I guess? Dunno, I've played every final fantasy game, including 7 (which wasn't my first) and found it to be a good game.
But deep down it didn't really leave an impression on me on the same level as the other games in the series. Not to say people aren't allowed to be excited, just I don't/didn't see what it is about the game that resonates with a lot of people. Not an attack on them, just curiosity.
