+1 Can you buy Xbox 360 on Xbox One now?
Alright, thanks. My games & apps - > Games -> all the way right, "Ready to Install" or something like that. They seem to be going up in batches. I have a couple that still aren't showing up for me, and the six I have took a while to pop up.
What does this mean for remasters?
It's not recompiled. There's an IGN interview on how it works. It is emulation.
I went for an interview with the people who created the emulation. It's CPU emulation of PowerPC, in a Hyper-V container with Xbox OS installed inside.

You can bet that lots of games aren't going to get approved because the pub wants to release the remaster versions. What does this mean for remasters?
Amazing stuff this. I've got some questions.
1. It's up to the publisher ? Hope everyone allows this. What will happen to the original GeOWr now ? Will Microsoft Studios allow it to be emulated after August ?
2. Also, since we're emulating the X360 (if it's sw), can we do "emulateception" AKA emulate the X360's PowerPC as a whole which in turn emulates the original Xbox games like Ninja Gaiden / Ninja Gaiden Black ?
3. How about legacy peripherals, fightsticks and wheels ? If they're compatible now, do they mean they'll eventually be compatible with native X1 games as well ?
It's only for preview (beta) members. There is no 360 store on XB1 yet. There's only a few titles supported right now.
Number 1Honestly, I only care about Ultra Street Fighter 4 being compatible. That is literally the only reason I still play my 360.
Now XBL seems to be back up fully I just seen Perfect Dark in my Ready to install section of my games and apps. Downloading now. Just a heads up. I should have Geo Wars in there I believe but "oh well" for now.
You insert your disc and download the title.Right but where? I'm in the preview program. How do I get to the games?

I haven't seen digital games pop up yet.
Great to hear.Installed Mass Effect. Played. Looks good. Funny thing still some texture pop ins but much much less than in the original. Its the same game with the same resolution as on the 360 but the quality is a little bit better maybe because the Xbox One has a better scaling solution. In short: It works, no problems so far being 1hr in the game!

If it's digital it's under Games and Apps - Ready to download (far right).
Note XBLive is having severe stability issues right now and titles aren't populating.
Thank you. This is exactly what I wanted to know.
Nothing is populated for me right now. I'll check back after the Sony conference.
How do you get XBLA games?

Yeah I know, just not able to see them atm because of the server thing. If it's digital it's under Games and Apps - Ready to download (far right).
Tried out Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise and it worked very well. Like the fact that you get the box art in your games section, can pin the games to your home and it has a custom splash screen on the game screen also.
Yeah it's worked since the conference ended.WHAHTHHAHTHA
This is already working?
So stuff like Marvel vs Capcom is never going to get approval because of licensing issues, right?
I tested Kameo, and yeah it is an x64 build from 06/15
