This is one of the greatest E3 shows I've ever witnessed.

Sony E3 2013 was the best just because of the used games fiasco and the reaction from the audience. Also the same conference that re-revealed FF15 and announced KH3, funnily enough.

Pretty sure there were some legendary ones during the PS1 and PS2 era as well. Strange that the PS4 era of Sony E3s seems to be largely better than the PS3 era of Sony E3s. Or maybe it's just me.
