I may join you. -adds you-
Ubisoft made me question my gaming again.
Either i'm interested in too many games...
...or i'm interested in none of them and I am unsure. :/
It's 5-6 hours SP Campaign, personally I haven't finished it so I can't comment on how good it is - I've only done two of the areas. Very different from the multiplayer, but I bet people who are good at platforming would also be pretty good in the multi. The good thing about Splatoon is that movement plays into the game quite a lot. I would recommend you try Turf Wars after doing the SP, the multi is brilliant.
Don't get this game if you aren't going to play multiplayer.
The single player is ok. But it takes like 4~6 hours tops to do everything, and can be easily beaten in less than that.
The single player is really good, the levels remind me of Mario Galaxy a lot, but it's rather short, only 5 hours or so. Wouldn't mind getting a longer stand alone Splatoon single player game in the future.
Its okay for what it is but for $60? No, not at all. I'm not typically a multiplayer person either but I've been playing it a ton, its fun.
yeah they didn't really show anything I was too interested in but they showed some cool stuff
just accepted your friend request although I've been playing mostly ranked recently. fell back to C+ lol
Usually I'm sad after those E3 conferences but I don't care this year, I have Splatoon.
It takes a lot of work to get it inked, it's easy for the enemy to spot you jumping onto the path, and it's awkward to actually navigate corner paths.
Short vertical routes are efficient, repaintable, and easy to use. So we'll likely only ever see Spots 1 and 3 get used.
Seems we gave all our comm errors to you. Sorry. ;(Hey, when I just jumped in the game there was no announcement from Callie and Marie. Was that some kind of bug or has it been turned off?
Edit: Never mind, it says I'm not connected to the internet :/
So I've come to the conclusion that the octarianshave so many weird varieties due to years of inbreeding after being stuck in those underground zones. Though there are a few normal ones left of course (octolings). Even they're leader is full on octopus. Whereas the surface dwelling inklings don't seem to have any genetic abnormalities whatsoever. The sunken scroll you get from level 16 shows an octarian before the Great Turf War. The difference between him and the inkling next to him is only in style of clothing and tentacle hair.
I think Cuttlefish is meant to be the young guy there and the guy with the celery is meant to be the final boss due to both having that celery.

Possible. MaybeOctavio was just in octo form during the boss battle, never bothering to go into human form. But there's still gotta be a reason why all those messed up octarians exist. lol
EDITThere's also gotta be a reason why Octavio seems so much younger than cuttlefish. Mutation?
Funny enough I had a problem with the cabling at my house and had all kinds of network problems for a few weeks. Felt bad... how do you do it?Seems we gave all our comm errors to you. Sorry. ;(
Need to take a break from ranked before I lose my mind
I expected the final boss tohe's a dj, so he's powered by energy drinks and pizazz
You know, I'm disappointed you never fighta straight up giant octopus
By coming up with plans to murder this router.Funny enough I had a problem with the cabling at my house and had all kinds of network problems for a few weeks. Felt bad... how do you do it?![]()

I love Burst Bombs, but I've been pretty poor at using them these past few days. =/There are some Japanese players online who are really good at Burst Bombs. Regular Splattershot users too.
Had one player just camp the sniper hallway in Urchin Underpass the entire time. If you go into their hallway, they just back up and throw bombs forever. If you leave them alone, they just poke out and throw bombs forever. They didn't even seem to be doing anything with their tactical advantage... It was just go back and forth between spots while we respawn forever... We were able to win both games, mostly out of sheer attrition, but man was that a lot of burst bombs. I'm honestly not sure how they were able to keep it up for so long.
No you can't.Is there a way to change the main gear ability on gear? I have the Amiibo gear, but the main ability is shit so I would never use it![]()

I came here to post this. The regular communication errors aren't so bad, the ones when searching for a game. It happens but not that often and its easy to search another game. Sometimes though, maybe once or twice per session, the game all of a sudden decides I don't have an internet connection. Any other device works, and when I played Smash and Mario Kart before Splatoon came out it never happened. But with Splatoon for some reason it doesn't see my router even though it was working fine before that. Restarting the console fixes it usually.Have only got online to work one day (and it worked flawlessly). The other few days have been communication error after communication error or it just telling me I don't have an internet connection twenty seconds into a match. No internet problems with my PS4 or any other machine hooked to internet, what's the deal?
I'm joining Heng's room.I see no one online because of e3. Reminds me of MKGAF last year lol.
I have never had a single problem with Mario Kart 8 online so I doubt it is a console problem (better not be, anyway).I came here to post this. I've read other posts on GAF with similar issues. Is there enough evidence to say this only happens with Splatoon or could it be faulty Wii U's?
I got use to this map on ranked and I didn't understand why they have the trucks there. I still don't.These trucks are bs. Their only purpose is to redirect you into enemy Wails. Should that fail, an enemy roller will squish you.
At least I can still splat you at the last second. =PI got use to this map on ranked and I didn't understand why they have the trucks there. I still don't.
Damn you blue.
take this with a HUGE grain of salt

It's hard.Ninja rollers on ranked. How do you deal with that
Yup.Lmao that was SO mean.
The shirt looks real. But I can't believe Mario being playable. I don't think Nintendo would do that.
Shoot the ground so they can't hide. They're easy pickings for chargers.Ninja rollers on ranked. How do you deal with that
