I can't decide if it's genius or of it's cheap as shit for a company the size of Sony to launch a kick starter on stage at e3.

That was prime time coverage and to get such a long time slot in as well while there were other bigger 3rd party announcements they could had filled in for that slot.
They're going to hit that goal, so I better get my Shenmue 3.

same composer is back for shen 3. they could get the rest back if they wanted, if schedules permit. this project looks pretty attractive by now, for everyone.
I'd think Sony would want to take credit for it if they had a hand in reviving the franchise.
Probably Sega and Sony in tandem.
I would pretty much lose my shit in the exact same way I am right now.

Theres not "no chance" but as of right now they have no plans of making an XB1 release and theres no indication they will.
And if Sony is the publisher, main investor, then there isn't a chance.

It couldn't handle the stress from two megatons.
But the biggest news was that KS collapsed with 503 errors for 20+ mins, people couldn't even give money to the project.
This project looks like it will easily hit 2.5M when EU finally wakes up.

I got $29 on it. Never played a Shenmue game but it has a loyal enough fanbase to get my support to make it happen. Hope it doesn't suck for you guys sanity.

Not that they aren't reliable but their calculations are like some people's here. They're basing it off of what has been done tonight which is ridiculous because it obviously won't maintain this level of funding for the entire campaign. No idea where it will end up but I would probably guess 4-5 million.
The first sold just over a million I believe. No idea on the second.
