wohh, I woke up this morning and saw the news, just watched the conference. What a time to be an old(er) gamer... Nostalgia wins!

Out of the three announcements. TLG, FF VII Remake, and Shenmue 3, which one was the most surprising? I think Shenmue 3 was to me because I never that was ever going to be developed. I think eventually FF VII was going to be remade and TLG was going to come out.

I would say c+ but people are flipping out over what looks a fairly standard conference. I personally think BC was the biggest announcement so far this year. Imo of course.

I'm 25 and I'm not familiar with shenmue, though I've never owned a dreamcast. Hopefully we get an HD port of 1 and 2. Did some reading up on them and sounds interesting.

Great conference for games, okay conference for Sony.

It's like they realized they had almost nothing this year and just decided to show 2016's conference.

That and using the Shenmue name for hype peddling. It's weird because PS kids won't even know what it is, or that Sony kind of killed the franchise in the first place.

But anything that gets that Kickstarter more attention is great.

I'd give the edge to MS due to GOW,FM6,H5,TR,Elite Dangerous, Star Wars, COD, Fallout 4 all due 2015 - crazy, 2016 though, that's another story

Oh yea xbox has a killer line up. I think its just because I knew about most of the stuff they showed. Not many surprise announcements beside rares new game and recode.

Overall Microsoft and Sony both gave great shows, about on par with each other.

This was the one for me man, absolute instant win. FF7, TLG and I don't even really know much about Shenmue, but I'm ecstatic for the people that love the franchise that they're finally getting the 3rd game. I still cannot comprehend what happened here.

Outside of all of the hype blinders though, not a whole lot of this was for 2015. In that sense MS had it a little better I think? Either way, 2016 shaping up to be one monster of a year in gaming.

Horizon looked incredibly cool. Really great to see them finally step away from the dead-weight of Killzone. Not sure what type of game it will end up being but the whole ideal looks great.

The FF7 stuff was cool for die-hard fans so at least being multi-platforms means many people might actually play FF7 for the first time.

Shenmue...Great to see it talked about, interesting to see it being a Kickstarter (That seems to be doing really well.) Now we wait for the added Console stretchgoals.

UC4 looks stunning but the entire series leaves me deflated. Never really enjoyed playing them.

TLG. Finally here...maybe....if they actually finish it this time. Still nothing really known about the game but good to see some actual gameplay, though that could easily be gameplay footage from 5+ years ago. Like DNF, I won't actually believe it until it appears on shelves and people play it.

Solid line-up for 2016 and beyond, not a huge amount for 2015. Was also hoping for price-drop to tempt me in.

For me, as a PS4 owner who do not care about TLG, Shenmue, Call of Doody Blop Blop Blop this was a dissapointment. MS won E3 hands down, and I am saying this as someone who does not own a Xbox One. The Last Guardian needs a major remake workover if it is to gather any hype from anyone else but old nostalgics right now it looks like a slightly rehashed PS3 game. Street Fighter is street fighter and nothing new.


Shame that Sony appears to have given up on true BC. I want to play my PSone and PS2 games on my PS4. I do not want to subscribe to a streaming service to play the games I already own.

Playstation Vue is absolutely useless and will never be available to me in Sweden anyway.

They treated the PS Vita as a distant dying relative. It will be dead by the next E3.

Nope and I don't care at this point either.
BC is most useful at the start of a new gen when releases are rather slow.
It's a nice feature, don't get me wrong, but at this point where barely any worthwhile last-gen only games are being released, it's a non issue.

What did MS show that really excited you? As far as I could see H5 looked good, but pretty similar to H4 in the H5 with a straight forward iterative upgrade. Matching Sony's big game U4 against it, I think that had a much stronger showing.

What else, Gears 4 looked nice but didn't show anything particularly new or ground breaking. I liked the atmosphere though.

The pirate game looked super cool and will be if you like MMO.

The Inafune game was...a pretty standard CG trailer.

Hololens stuff was good, if you like that stuff. VR looks cooler to me though.

I agree that Xbone has a better line up for the rest of 2015 (it was super weak on exclusives in the first half). That is not in doubt at all. When you add multiplats into the equation though, PS4 has a decent line up for 2015.
