Nah, he's always had that stance. He's convinced Final Fantasy stopped being good after 6. Its fine, its his opinion but he's always been overly dismissive of 7.

I find it hilarious that the only bouts of enthusiasm during these feeds were in the background from the control room with Jason yelling about Street Fighter V and Drew yelling about Halo and Yokai Watch

No, because it's a presentation by a gaming magazine that happened to get sponsorship, and not a real press conference by a game maker.
They have appointments but they wouldn't do it because its PCGamer's thing and they don't want to talk over another publication's thing.

All we know about Persona 5 from the past week is that it's in English on the E3 badges this year (along with Dancing All Night) and that they were teasing a new trailer over in Japan along with that Persona 5 blu-ray pre-order bonus for the JPN release of Dancing All Night.
I'm still genuinely surprised it wasn't at the Sony E3 conference yesterday. Even just an English version of the gameplay trailer we have now.

Yeh you have to wait 10 minutes or a short time until it is archived.

Did people really want a new Star Fox? Or did they want a new Star Fox?
I was never a huge fan, so I guess it doesn't work for me, but I'm not a huge Zelda fan and new Zeldas can always get some kind of reaction out of me. Nothing from that new Star Fox gameplay. Would have rather had Nintendo fund S&P 3 or a new Space Harrier or something.
Now they would have sold me if all the cutscenes and portraits were recordings of those puppets.

That is a first, I think.
Not surprising. The gyroscope works great in Splatoon because it feels natural, it doesn't require you to do anything but move your arms. Having to constantly look down at the Gamepad screen just doesn't feel good and I have not liked it any game thats used it. Hopefully, in the final game there will be a way to turn it off.
