Let me see that Diddy Kong?

Damn. I was just about to establish a system of discrimination that institutionally disenfranchises any and all Mechanics, but I don't want to deal with trademark litigation. You got lucky this time Auto Mechanics, Game Mechanics, Writing Mechanics, Mechanical Engineers, Mecha Mechanics, Energy Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, etc.

quick someone trademark "bionic holocaust"

I think Horizon has probably been the surprise of the show. Can't wait to see more of that.

Fractured But Whole takes that prize for me. I was not expecting that.

However, Horizon looks very interesting. I just hope it veers closer to open-world RPG than MonHun clone.

It's a toss-up between Fallout and Horizon for my personal game of the show.

Surprise wise and especially name wise I'd have to agree. I think Horizon wins for me just because it has more potential.

I'll be happy with more of South Park, I'm just not expecting much new besides story and gags. They have a lot of awesome moments to compete with from that first game.

Yeah that is definitely the biggest (and most plesant) surprise to me. After Matt/Trey didn't enjoy the first experience so I figured we'd never see another. Don't know how I feel about Ubisoft taking over development though.

Hololens still a really small FOV apparently. I'm really surprised that Microsoft doesn't see a problem with misrepresenting this with their stage demos.

Are you really surprised that Microsoft doesn't see a problem misrepresenting something in a stage demo? Really?

I mean, sort of. This is an incredibly obvious mis-match between what was presented and what you get, the minute you put the Hololens on.

More interesting than Hololens, Brad is seeing Dark Souls 3 in 20 minutes!

edit: Had to listen to the Just Cause 3 impressions on the Bombcast, and holy shit it sounds amazing.

edit2: They're gonna have Just Cause 3 dev(s?) on one of the live shows according to Jeff on the Bombcast.

Demo was just a non-interactive animation. Tracking felt super precise, no noticeable latency. Extremely limited field of view though.
5-10 minutes, non-interactive. just a long animation, still pretty impressive all told
Besides the FOV seems like it's pretty cool. Hope they can improve on that.

I don't need to hear the devs on the latecast. Give me three days of Johnny V, Lang, and Boyes.

I think the Jonathon Blow/Cliffy B segment from 2(?) years ago was one of the best ever but there have also been a lot of dev panels which were misses. Last year I felt like they tried too hard to get a bunch of different people in and a lot of the segments suffered for it. By the time they got around the table introducing everyone and asking how their E3 has been they'd have ran out of time.

Someone please tell me the track ID of that song during the intermission screens on the Gamespot stream. Awesome stuff.
