What's the chance of seeing some Japanese companies come on stage and announcing better PC support? Higher than HL3?

Most of the Japanese companies on PC make games that would make a lot of GAF members uncomfortable. I know you don't mean those companies, but nah I doubt it will happen.

Shadow Complex would be for PC would be beyond amazing. how the hell did that game never get a sequel?

A dev from Chair was non-subtly teasing a PC version of Shadow Complex like a month ago during the Bloodstained kickstarter stream, and using that as a way to gauge interest in a sequel.

Low because they have to actually be there and not in Japan.

Better support for PC from Japanese devs is clearly already happening though, just look at the last year or so.

I actually think this is one of the saddest things about the show, Valve are on of the biggest things in PC gaming (if not the actual biggest) - even with no games at all to announce, they should have at least had someone show up for it even if it was to just host or explain how great Steam is or something.

Yeah that's true, Valve is pretty much modern pc gaming and having one person there would solidify the conference as something for people to take seriously.

Can't wait to see that ARMA expansion. And please Phil, MCC port.

If they were going to show up, I doubt they'd advertise it. That's the kind of thing you keep secret until it happens.

Was just kind of hyping it up in my mind given Dota 2's big focus on source 2 being revealed this week. We could still get something this week just not at this venue.

They only pretend to be uncomfortable. We all know what people love the most!

I'd like to see Atlus releasing games on PC. They're owned by Sega and Sega's no stranger to PC gaming.

I really love the idea but that lineup is snores.

When they were accepting submissions for games I contacted them and wanted to reveal my unannounced game if they were interested, and they said the volume of submissions were tremendous and would get back with me but never did. I never got to tell them what the game was or how it played or anything. Phooey.

So there could be a ton of games here? No idea! Really curious to see how it goes.

A bit sad that this is going to be only on twitch. I was looking at the SE conference on twitch and it looked like shit whenever they showed game trailers or footage, which made me go look at youtube and there I didn't have any quality problems.

That sucks, i was hoping to watch it on Youtube. Kept refreshing but nothing showed up.

That sucks. I would have loved to see the reveal for your unannounced game, given how fun CSD was.

C'mon MS, resurrect MechWarrior already! MWO ain't cuttin' it.

This would be amazing. I know harebrained schemes was hinting at bringing back an old IP. Since they are doing shadowrun, that would narrow it down to being either Crimson Skies or Battletech.
I doubt we are going to see a proper MechWarrior now that MWO exists though. Unfortunate as it is.

For what it's worth, ArenaNet has said they'll be revealing Guild Halls in the upcoming Guild Wars 2 expansion, so apart from a possible release date announcement I wouldn't expect any surprises from them (though it's still awesome news if you're a fan of the game)

You should just reveal it on NeoGAF. Big snazzy thread.

On one hand you're right, but on the other hand there are always expectations with conferences like these. If Valve would be confirmed to show up, people would assume rightly so that they have something to talk about. Preferably new games. So, if they just showed up but only talked about Steam, then people would get pissed. And this also goes for new content for existing games. Don't think talking about Dota there would go well with people.

I don't count myself in that category. If you want old-school SNES style JRPGs and SRPGs, there are lot of good ones being made by adult Japanese PC devs.

Those games never get translated to English though. Few get good, complete, fan-translations but it takes a while. And getting the game legally can be a pain.

Thanks! Yeah, I really wanted to be a part of E3! Ah well, maybe next time.

I have another reveal plan in place with some other people that's gonna be really awesome. So I can't be too disappointed how that turned out. :D

If valve actually showed up I expect it would be to demo some source 2 tech with vr, and if we're lucky some l4d3 (given early source 2 leaks showing the project with some work done). I expect the conference to be some tech and some pc games.
