i wish i could get into the 8-4 podcast, the 8-4 crew is great

I prefer a smaller crowd but this is kind of extreme. something like 6 seems like it would be a good balance.

also seems potentially not great when it comes to getting new people on. they have enough regulars that there might not be a ton of room - I like seeing Lang/Drake/etc. but I also like seeing them throw in some random people that might be cool.

Agree, I would like it see it kicked up just a bit more. This just kind of seems like Jeff interviewing two guests, I'd rather have a couple more people on there to turn it into a conversation between multiple guests and some of the crew.

Yeah, I kinda enjoyed the chaos of last year with so many people. Having Jeff + 1 other duder and 2 guests is too little imo.


I hope there is still a Johnny V + Dave Lang combo at some point. That's always the best.

If you choose to exploit that's your perogotive but in terms of story, world and characters i found it far more interesting then 7 and most other FF games. 7 isn't even top 8 for me.

I'm just guessing, but using one of the hotel ballrooms likely took way less effort to secure up than flying to LA to scout out / line up a location. That's gotta be a ridiculous amount of work.

Aside from the gameplay which many folks have chimed in about I reckon FFVIII is definitely up there in terms of world building. Everything about the details is on point.
