When Frank is on GB streams its always a weird and cool moment for me. He got me into podcasts with the Bungie podcast, which got me listening to old 1up episodes with the Luke Smith connection, which got me into NeoGAF, which got me into Giant Bomb.

FYI, on the Steam Summer Sale you can get Chubbigan's Cook, Serve, Delicious for just $.99 (regularly $9.99).

Get this, folks. Spent probably 30-40 hrs on it on iPad. Game is really satisfying to get good at. If you need more convincing, check out the GB quick look, Ryan and Jeff had a good time with it.

When does Jeff start a weekly interview podcast? He is too good at this.

I often get the feeling Jeff gets more of a kick out of interviewing devs / talking about the industry at large than actually playing games.

That's not a criticism of Jeff in the slightest...you may see alot of game journos moving that way as they grow older.

AI lady makes me feel dumb. Not in a bad way, just one of those reminders of "I never think of things in that way" that stupid people like me need.

Haha, very similar for me. Frank's always been great. Loved the Bungie podcast.

Nah, not everyone needs to think this way only because we need people who don't think outwardly like this to bring these different ideas that we wouldn't have thought of to the forefront of conversations. It's s very symbiotic relationship. People who don't over think and enjoy things for what they are and can be and people who over think and tear down concepts and ideas to what they are and recognizing things by how they're being experienced.

I think that is something smart people say to stupid people to make them feel better. :(

Is Jeff the best interviewer/host in gaming journalism right now? Because it sure seems like he is since the conversations he's getting from all the guests are pretty brilliant.

I think Brad also organised alot of the guests...wasn't he absent at the last show in SF before E3 organising just that ?

Brad and Alex I suppose? They both have their strengths when it comes to getting people.

Wasn't it Patrick last year? I recall after the complaints about the guests that he addressed it on his blog and talked about how he needed to 'expand his rolodex' or something.

I think he was talking in response to another article written by someone else and about her rolodex was filled with these people who were good at what they did, but they were all white. or something. I dunno. I just wanna say I remember hearing it was Alex doing some of that.

I think the diveristy in tone to each of the segments speaks about the strengths of GB. They can go from casual, humorous conversation to outrageous, bombastic antics, to difficult questions to deep conversations about AI.

Whoever set up these guests did an amazing job. GB is in such a great place. As a fan and premium subscriber, I keep finding reasons to follow this dumb website.

Jeff is the most well rounded. He knows how to wrangle cats without coming across as frustrated or too self serious, but also knows how to guide deep conversations and also let these conversations go on their own path and gently push them in the right spots and ask the right questions to help the movement.
