This sign up is a public beta. You don't have to pre order.
You can get access to the Street Fighter V Beta by pre-ordering Street Fighter V at the following retailers:
Gamestop Amazon Best Buy Playstation Network
Sounds like a fair thing to do to me. If it's really a beta test, you're doing Capcom a favor.
Yes, I'mm doing THEM a favor, by getting to play a highly anticipated game 6 months early.
Gosh, what an imposition they are placing upon me.
If you do things like you suggest and abuse the current system then we can see changes in policy that won't be as easy to abuse which fucks it up for people who need to cancel for reasons other than a stupid beta.I don't understand what's the problem with Amazon here. You`re supposed to cancel your order before they send you the game/charge you.
If you wait until amazon charges you to cancel than it's your fault and they should make the returning process harder.

Honestly, they should be paying ME to play a video game I want to play.
LOL.
Does it matter if you lie about your pp?
Sure, but what's the number of people that do what i said?
And i can't see what's the big logistical problem for Amazon in canceling a order for a product they didn't shipped/separated. They just need to change the status of the order on the costumer profile, and that sure is made automatically.
But there's no point in discussing this. I apologize for even bringing this possibility to someone who might be interested in seeing how the games is, but don't want to drop $60 in something they aren't sure.
Things like this ruin it for everyone.
Great job!
Ruin what for everyone? Who does this hurt?
So beta is only for PAL countries?
I wonder how many people interested in playing the beta for Street Fighter V have never played Street Fighter before and/or have no idea what they'd be getting. Probably not too many.
You get a nice static theme with the pre-order on PSN in NA.

I'm going to leave the second half for those who pre-order.
Damn Ryu on those roids.
Waiting for that Ken Dynamic theme/salt
The link on the OP just tell you to pre order the game to participate on the beta.
That`s the only information that they show you:
No, the beta is for multiple countries. The U.S. doesn't have sign-ups and instead you have to pre-order to get access.
Is Ken really not in?
Pre-Order is for us in United States. No need in PAL
from USA, signed up with UK, will see what happens.
Why did you sign up in the UK?

If they know whats good for them he will be.
If not the backlash against Nintendo for BlasterBall Metroid would pale in comparison.
For if the strike Ken down, then fans will become more powerful than theycould possibly imagine
Well, the previous games are not a parameters to this. Every preview says that the game plays different in comparison to the 4th.
But as i said, it was only a heads up that was not well received. I'll refrain in giving this kind of "advice" in the future.
Oh ok, gonna buy the game anyways. So i just paid. lol
I got it thru Amazon. Are they gonna email me a beta-code?
Yup, they'll send codes out when the time comes.
Sounds like a fair thing to do to me. If it's really a beta test, you're doing Capcom a favor. Why should you commit to purchasing a product for the privilege?
What a waste of a spot if he shows up.
I did a few days ago and Ididnt get a code, but they did tell me to check in next week and they might have them. Now I'm just wondering if I should go to GS and pre-order now. Has anyone actually went to a store and pre-ordered SF5 yet? Not looking to do this online.
They've said they're going to adopt the KI style seasonal updates with associated balancing and characters. Is Capcom going to release 4 different versions of SF5 over the years? I am usually hesitant to get the first version of a fighter.
A beta is a beta. You're supposed to be evaluating the game, reporting problems etc. The game is far from done.
How the hell did we get to the point where game testing which is an actual thing people get paid for is seen as some kindness that can be dangled above peoples heads?
