Next year we'll get a live studio audience, a 20 minute comedy monologue from Jeff and a short skit before the first set of guests.

I'm okay with "What is Firewatch?" becoming Jeff's version of "In the Year 2000" where it goes on long after Firewatch is available and easily explained.

Aww, I missed Jason on the Capcom stream? Bah! Got in my second monitor but I was tootling about the house.

What character was he using? Did he give 'GB Jason' as his name?

Jeff does love his hardware

I just want to cut off any nasty rumors that may have started.

I have not been walking around singing Lockdown in the halls at work today.

Not at all. And certainly not every time I stand from my desk.

Where can I find the discussion where Mark McDonald was apparently a guest on the show? I know it wasn't on the Bombcast because I've already listened to that, so it must be one of the live streams from E3, which should be archived somewhere, right?

Anybody got a link?

Me either.

Especially not in the elevator.

And I'm not doing the intro drumfill on my desk either.

I think he was the first guest during their first night's stream. And he was also in on the chat with the Bungie people last night but he didn't say much.

If Jeff thinks these VR devices can be huge, that's a good sign from me. Still don't think I'll be there day 1 until the software for it shows up.

But when Summer Lesson comes out...

Hololens seems like such a weird thing. It needs space to work and a setup to be effective, a couple of issues that Kinect also had. youd think they'd avoid that but it seems like they might be going all in on it

That IGN guy really wasn't in a good mental space to accept Nacho's handshake at the end there, haha. That's kinda on Nacho though, you give them a minute, even a few seconds. You don't go in immediately. Nacho was all like, Tournie winning KO -> My victorious hand is instantly in your face waiting for you to shake it. :P Had to chuckle at IGN guy wrestling with himself to return it.

I hope GB has some appointment(s) to see Horizon today. That game looks so amazing I feel like I'm getting my hopes up too much.

wait, could that actually happen? haven't really been following it and thought people had to be exaggerating.

He's asking for 100 million. Small chance, but if he wins anything close to that Gawker will at the very least have to get outside funding for the first time (which is something they've always opposed). Anything close to what he's asking for could sink the company, from what I've read.

Will most likely not happen though.

The whole thing is pretty fascinating to me. Gawker could've easily avoided this by taking down the video and article when Hogan's lawyers first demanded it, but no surprise that Nick Denton refused to do that. The whole story behind Gawker and how much of a genius scumbag Nick Denton seems to be is really fascinating, I recommend The New Yorker's profile of him from 2010 for anyone interested.

Watching the start of the Destiny interview again, and it's hilarious to see Jeff say what he says about the game in that setting. I know that Jeff and Brad are probably friends with Luke Smith and it's all in good fun, but that segment was much better than it had any right to be. Seems like people in the Bungie subreddit are praising it as the best interview with Bungie people from E3.

Still catching up with the Day One content, just watch the Phil Spencer and Kudo bit the part about the 360 emulation was fascinating I love it when they get into the details like that.

Yep, and those details reaffirmed that it'll be great for me. Waiting for the multi disc support to get finished.

It was the only candid interview. DeeJ (Bungie CM), just offered the typical corporate double talk to other outlets.

Yeah, the more relaxed atmosphere and it being later in the day probably helps a lot of devs to loosen up some. Most devs are probably in super PR mode all day on the showfloor.
