Street Fighter 5 Character Hints?

If they're boring, the left could be Akuma. Kinda matches his aura colors. Urien is fire based (if you think of his flame pillar victory pose), so that could be the right one.

Or they could just make additional changes to the way that he plays? He's already a completely different beast from Ryu. They've shown a willingness to expand existing characters like Bison and Nash in unique ways. The implementation of the V system gives opportunities to make him even more distinct.

Of course they would have to change Ken dramatically for him to fit the criteria for him to be different. The things is, would they change him so much that Ken "fans" will actually use him in his newer form. They could give you a Ken that only kicks and would sort of have his omega move set. Capcom is going to have to deal with backlash either way if they do or don't put Ken in.
 
SF2 side is pretty meh. Love the rest of it though aside from a lack of Q. If it's true I have my main back from SF4 so I'm good regardless.

Obviously taken with a grain of salt, but...

I'd be okay with that being the starting roster. Obviously there's a bunch of others I'd like to see added, but if we got Alex and Urien along with Charlie, I think I could manage until the inevitable roster expansion. Though only one returning SFIV character doesn't seem right, I'm pretty sure we'd a least get Abel too with Juri.

Aside from being funny it would also be pretty stupid, he's clearly the second most popular street fighter character.

Ken/Alex w/ USA stage reveal @ Evo.
 
No matter who's in I'm sure I'll find someone I like, so I don't really mind. The only way they can fuck up now is if they make every single character a charge character or something.

The thing with this list is it has characters many have been clamoring for, which makes it suspect.
I'd be OK with it though
My brothers liked Gief in SF4, so him in 5 is OK long as they give him grey hair :P
I want Hakan at least to be in Season 2 of SF5 though XO

Try not to assume most Ken's are new players. I've been playing SF for over a decade and main Ken in each one of them. He is just an important character and will likely be IN the initial roster. Capcom will probably just make him play more differently than before.

Or, they could just change Ken's move-set. Look at Charlie, no longer a Charge character, Sonic boom is heavily delayed, and doesn't rely on defense or AA but rushdown and mix-up.

Anyway, on Verendus, he did not hint that Ken won't be in, only that he would WANT ken not to be in because he doesn't like his character that much. We've been in an entertaining debate about it for the past year lol...last words before he left were reassuring, I don't think Ken army should worry guys '-)

They aren't Capcom characters, they belong to Arika.

It's not like a Karin/Strider/Hayato type situation where even though they were guest designed but they still belong to Capcom (at least jointly), the EX characters are solely Arika property.
 
I wouldn't know what to do with myself without my boy Blanka. I guess I would switch to M.Bison? He looks kinda fun.

Can we expect at least one more character announcement at Evo?

I don't really know why this list is so fanservicey and unbelievable. If you want to add characters to V that wasn't in IV to build hype there isn't a ton left to choose from. This list is composed of characters that have been clamored for by fans and classic characters, many that fill gameplay niches (Sim and Gief).

The only odd one out is R. Mika who is less popular but Ono really likes.

Personally, I hope this list isn't true as I need Dudley but what would a "realistic" roster even look like? 90% SF2 characters again?

Karin is probably a bigger red flag because she's an original design by manga artist Masahiko Nakahira and if Capcom wants to release the game in a classic compilation 10 years from now or whatever they probably don't want any licensing issues to interfere.

From Ono's twitter hints, SDCC is most likely the next reveal.

This list just seems way to try hard fan service-y to the point where there doesn't even seem like a central theme between the characters. My main gripe is this just looks like a list a fan made up.

isn't he back into the company? Also didn't he create evil ryu? and the fact that evil ryu is in USF4 they must have come to terms with each other.
