The thirst is real: a Destiny TTK quest is exclusive to Red Bull (Until Jan 1, 2016)

Come on guys, this is a bargain!
Most Destiny DLC costs £20 and comes with about 5 new quests. This is a whole multi-stage quest for about £1.50.

I don't even know if this is a joke post. When it comes to DLC-bonus content I think the only way to win is not to play.
My copy of Batman came with 4 different DLC codes that I had to enter (and wait for 2-3GB of content), plus a day-1 patch (another 3-4GB), plus some other free DLC from the PSN store (only 120 MB). And I don't even have the season pass.

Nothing gets me more excited about a new game than trying to enter codes on the shitty console pseudo-keyboard, then putting the PS4 into rest mode to complete a download and waiting until tomorrow before I can play the damn thing.

but you know whats gonna happen? red bull can theft will go through the roof and also people just opening the drink for the tab.
:)

I like this type of blatant advertising. It's the subliminal shit I have a problem with. Just be as obvious and in my face as humanly possible. I find it funny.

My buddy runs a store and is usually able to get me this stuff quite a bit ahead from "street date" (for a drink lol etc.). I kinda wanna put a sizable order in.

Maybe my body is not ready after all.

Read through the topic. Concerns are legit.

How?

Glad I gave up on this game. I bought the legendary edition with the season pass, and I didn;t even bother with the two dlc packs.
Hahahahaha. Definitely made the right choice to never even play Destiny. Everything about this game just seems gross and greedy, don't want to support that at all.
At this point I'm just glad I bought the base game used and haven't gotten any of the DLC.

Imagine for a moment it was your least favorite drink.

Then I wouldn't buy it. lol

Not everyone sits around drinking that piss water all day...

Why should I waste my money on a stupid energy drink to get content that should be included in the damn game?

Well you needed to buy the Ghost Edition and CoD:AW to get exclusive content for Destiny. Did you buy both of those items? I didn't.

I'll definitely buy some Redbull.

You could start by understanding the argument a bit better.

I understand the argument perfectly well. People are outraged at cross-promotion for something that is very likely to be inconsequential in a game a lot of people hate despite not playing.

I don't see people hating on Avengers for Marvel having deals with everything in the freaking world like Pop-Tarts or soda. As long as this isn't giving us something that's play to win, I don't really care about it. On top of that, it's like $2 and, given some context with that cost, I can afford to not buy a taco one morning in lieu of this.

Red Bull X Destiny PowerPoint grabs posted on reddit

These guys are going to have destiny plastered all over the place. The way it was worded in the picture on page one makes it look like they're taking a jab at destiny players. On the PowerPoint they actually compare price.

Either way it sounds bad, but it's also true. We do pay a premium and Red Bulls deal is about to give us 6 levels and some extra xp for the cost of a can.
