The purchase button finally disappeared for me on Steam.
I've never had someone ask me for a picture of my credit card before. Doesn't seem secure.
this was a mistake on their part, people showed on droves the backing for the game but in the end they were the ones that disappointed us, moving away from the PC market would be a huge mistake since there are millions to be made thereI wonder if this will just lead to WB no longer putting their games on PC.
2.5 million sales for Arkham CityI wonder if this will just lead to WB no longer putting their games on PC.

How in any way is it less secure than punching your info in? You're literally putting in everything off of the card anyway. By your logic you should never buy anything with a credit card online.
nevermind
this is such a hostile anti-consumer stance.
people should be able to get a refund for any reason but especially when the thing that bought is fucking broken. This wouldn't fly in another other situation.

You cannot blame IG in all this
It's a horrible port but it's whoever green lighted it. There could be many reasons for this port to be awful, but it's up to the higher ups to bite the bullet. Who ever was doing the QA for this port regardless of what his bosses said is going to bite the bullet for this. If you are testing this game and releasing it on the PC Market you are also putting your name next to it. In corporate structure you are the guy who is pinned with the blame even though it's like you are not actually making the decision.
IG is definitely should not get the majority of the blame. I don't think they would be in control of the quality control someone above must approve this and in such a case no doubt someone from Rocksteady/WB was in charge of that.
What is wrong with pc version despite 30 FPS and lack of rain effect ?
I haven't seen the rest that is wrong yet, i got it on PS4.

So steam is now saying that the game will be available on PC in "Fall 2015"... Holy shit WB what the fuck kind of shit did you pump out to cause a recall for a couple of months?

1.1 million sales for Mordor
Yea I think they'll keep putting games on PC.

It won't be a few months. The fall 2015 refers to the Linux and Mac versions, which were already launching later than the Windows version.
Short version: massively inconcistent framerate, missing AO, missing numerous shaders, any controls to turn on and off various effects, lacking or absent Bokeh DOF, possible memory leaks, obscene VRAM usage, tons of hitching due to streaming and page swaps, crashing, poor performance on AMD videocards, and... I think that's it?

I agree. Can't wait to see the effect.
Forgot shitty texture pop-in.

Can GAF ask WB to give us a discount for the PS4/XBONE version for compensation?
I think this is the right move to do but it rings a bell that they release a game in this state. This is agaisnt buiding a "good" name for WB as a publisher.
I hope big publishers stop releasing broken games.
Over the Summer Sale alone just the Batman games. MKX, and Shadow of Mordor generated over 3 million dollars. And that's just games that are old, or heavily discounted, over the course of 2 weeks.
WB will keep releasing PC games, there is bank to be made there. They need to get their shit together though
I wonder if NVidia will do anything for people who got the game through the promotion.
It's not like I can return the game.
Major props to WB.
Most publishers just tell PC gamers something like: "Just deal with it. It's not that bad. We'll fix what we can when we can." But now that WB has stepped up, I hope this will force other publishers to stop treating PC consumers like redheaded stepchildren.
Is there a central WB/Rocksteady email. I'd like to contribute to something like that.
Just thought they could get away with it.I have no idea why these people couldn't have seen how obviously terrible this PC port was. How the fuck could they be so obtuse as to actually release the damn thing?
