Any chance of this on PC?
Never.

There is a chance but very slim. If it does happen itll be atleast 4+ years away.
And yet some people in this very thread will just plug their fingers in their ears and just say "Atlus, shrug"
This needs to stop. It really does.
I think word of mouth and streaming will really help sell this game. Plus, it is rather different from most of the other games available. Probably not as big as Bloodborne, but really good.yeah i think you're wayyy lowballing how much it's gonna sell

And yet, the big ones have adapted. It's the smaller ones such is NIS and Atlus that haven't. In Atlus's case it's especially worrying, because you're dealing with quite possibly the best rising JRPG out there.
I can see P5 doing 1 million worldwide very easily though since P4G did over 700K on a handheld which is considered dead outside of Japan.

Look at Fallout 4. We had NOTHING until this E3, and then "boom November release date"
I think you're overestimating. 1 million in US is a VERY VERY VERY high benchmark.
Okay great point. I guess some Devs just do their own thing. I still don't think this is the norm. But yeah, some Devs do in fact do this. And they have their own reasons for doing this.
Ha, and if there was any company that qualified for "doing their own thing," Atlus would be it.

Lol yes! So true. I can accept that I'm just biased and love this series immensely, that I'm being irrational here. But I will say that at least Fallout had a specific release date and pre orders up.
Dungeons look great. Is this going to look substantially better on PS4 vs PS3?

Fallout 4 wasn't used as a tool to market 4 Fallout spinoffs.
Atlus knows how the thirst for P5. They are milking that thirst to push all their other spinoffs, concert, etc.

I don't think they've been using Persona 5 for that purpose for anything other than PSL2015 and P4D, though. Since November 2013, Persona 5 has been radio silent outside of a few blips on the radar, and it's only since February 2015 that things have been getting a bit more active.
I'm referring to the announcement back in 2013 where they announced Ultimax,Q,P4DAN before announcing 5.
There was expectations for P5 at that event.
I'm not very happy about there (I'm assuming) only being 4 playable characters.

Assumptions.Shigenori Soejima:
We still have a lot left to show, so hopefully people keep an eye on us and wait to see what’s coming up. Chief among those, in fact, are more allied characters that we have yet to show, but I’d say that we won’t be running out of new stuff to reveal anytime soon. So stay hyped and sit tight until we finally get this game out in your hands!
Hah, I was hoping this game with have a more manageable team and keep it lower than past games. I knew more would come than the main cast shown in trailers.
Did they ever say if you can romance outside the group? I always knew the team would be bigger than 4. But if it was just 4, romance options would be pretty limited and straight forward. It got me thinking if this game will allow you to romance outside the group and I mean in a fully fleshed out way. Actual plot.
I haven't been following all the details as much as you guys. Was wondering if they had said anything on romance in general. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
you've been able to romance outside the group in P3 and P4 so
If there was more to the game, it would be in the trailer. From what I can tell, the entire game is about two minutes long!Art Director already said they had more allies to reveal.
I mean, really people? You see 4 people and assume that's it for the whole game?
I expect 1 million US by early 2016. I can't gauge how it will sell in Japan.
I hope the team is smaller in this game tbh.

Haha i was only speculating since Sega bought Atlus id assume theyd like to push a few more titles seeing how well VC did.
Also i dont even know if there are any Atlus games on PC.
I think they just all meet up at the cafe, I doubt they all live there.

The protagonist is a second year high school student who has recently moved to the big city, and lives with his parents friends at a coffee shop.
