Fighting Games Weekly | June 29 - Jul 5 | Frauds Among U.S.

I really hope they put him back. Hopefully the new KOF is a dream match where we can go nuts and all the characters they are adding are taking a long time to complete.

Its vortex city vs mixup city

I'm like
Mother-of-god-template.jpg
if they mated.....

But yeah it's a fun thing, if either gets going it's done, Yun with his mix up bit with that glass jaw and Ibuki just doing her thing life gone.
I LOVE it.
I just need to get decent.....

Am I insane for loving the Ibuki, Yun match up? Bullshit vs fuckery?

I love the match up. It's like Yun's only purpose in this game is to put Ibuki in her place for all the BS she puts everybody else though lol. Most of the time when I play this match, before the vortex's begin it's me being hyper aggressive and the Ibuki running for their life and somehow trying to catch me off guard. She runs just like Dhalsim when you give them a taste of their own medicine.

This match up is why I don't mind either character.
Although I do play Ibuki and Juri so I'm biased

Apparently they had to upgrade to 4096 man brackets (from the previous power of 2, 2048) for SF at EVO cause there are so many entrants.

Yeah they said there were 2051 players signed up for SF4, but then Xian and Gackt barely registered after that tweet so the total confirmed right now is 2053 players. That was a week ago I think.

I think I guessed 2200 or 2300 this year for Ultra.

Looks like I'm wrong with Smash 4 and Melee both reaching 2000+ respectively.

They really got to move to a bigger space next year, lol.

So they're really going to have 256 pools of 8 players? I thought they always just get as close to 16 as possible. So if USF4 ends with 2200 players then it would just have 138 pools with 8 of them having 15 players instead of 16. Unless I'm mistaken about how this works.

no showing from vulva tonight :( hope the guys that showed up had fun!

We're currently looking for tournament sponsors to get our winners out to majors, if anyone is interested or knows someone interested in sponsoring the /r/StreetFighter weekly tournament let me know here or DM us @RedditSF!

Do you guys only play on PC?

since there are no 'road to evo' tournaments anymore for the past two years, how has the evo team been handling the seeding process lately?

No, you're right. Cosmo Clock is wrong.

Imagine making it out in pools in losers and then being eliminated immediately in your first match. Saying "Yo, at least I made top 276" doesn't quite have that magical ring to it.

BTW, did anybody watch the Salty Suite last night? I finished watching what I didn't finish. Pugera didn't lose a single set, and he played against some really good players including PR Rog, iPeru, Sanford, Hamad, Fourwude, Julio. He also beat some good but lesser players like Zaferino, Micronuke, and Onisan(guy who beat Infiltration in teams). The funny thing is the guys that played more Yolo did far better than most of the well known/top players.

Just watched the Daigo vs Xiaohai match. Man Daigo needs to close those matches out. Xiaohai claws his way back all the time against Daigo. All of his wins started with him on the verge of losing. Guy adapts.

I'm salty as fuck

They're asking MIOM and the Smash Hub (Smash 4) to seed the Smash games. I'm sure NRS and anime community is doing the same.

I can't stand watching those two play the mirror. Daigo goes through great lengths to lose that mirror against Xiaohai. I think that's the third time he's lost it to him D:

He also went to great lengths to get sent to losers. Match point for both players, he has a life lead, and he goes for a random dp not once, but twice? Probably the most frustrated I've ever been watching him play, and I was rooting for Strider.

I wonder which other players qualified to face Daigo, Xian, Ryan, and Justin in the round robin this coming sunday. I know Kyoku won the tournament that PR Rog participated in so he's the 5th player. Now to find out the other 3...

Not sure if this has been asked already in the thread, but any restreams of Top 8 Marvel? I missed it :(

I only found one on YT that some foreign dude posted, but he talks throughout the whole damn thing and I can't hear the commentators for beans.
