Wow, can't believe posts dropped off for this show. Well, I just watched episode 13 and I couldn't hold back the tears. For something that you know is coming, and are able to prepare for, it still hits you very deep in the heart.
Overall, I thought it was very good. Life isn't forever, live it to the fullest, guys!
At least we know Tsukasa and Isla are reunited (in a way) at the end.
Dedicated anime OTs usually die off because most people just post their impressions in the seasonal anime thread.
But yeah dem feels in the last episode

I was a bit disappointed in this show, but that's probably more my fault than anything else. I was expecting a more hard Sci-Fi exploration of love and death and AI, like a series version of Time of Eve. Obviously we didn't get that, (something I already understood back around episode 3/4), but I think my initial hope soured my view on the whole show :/

It this show good? Only heard about it since the city is based on Singapore.
I literally couldn't get past episode 6.

And the very next decision he makes after learning this? "I wanna take her on a date" BOY! YOUR METAL FEVER HAS ROTTED YOUR BRAIN OUT OF YOUR SKULL!
"Oh no branch manager, we don't want to give you the resources and time to properly form teams who are skilled and competent in dealing with collecting and handling AI THAT GOES LAMBENT AFTER A CERTAIN SET OF HOURS! Also, don't try to collect them a month before lambency kicks in, no, do it within 10 hours of it happening everytime, even though you know most people pitch a fit and try to flee the scene when you roll up on them, that'll be gangbuster!"

Predictable ending but the last two episodes were so good and amazing. Loved the whole cast, especially Zack.

Only the spin-off manga with Michiru has been announced, but yeah even as an original series, I could see them doing another one and resetting the clock, but the plot line would be tough to recreate unless they made it to just watch Tsukasa

I do wonder what an Asimovian robot ("A robot must not actively or through inaction hurt a human", assume something like a Spacer era bot which doesn't have bugs or exploits to turn it murderous) would do if it had an owner emotionally attached to it but also an eventual failure to wear and tear (Asimov's robots tended to be absurdly durable, compare that to a car with far fewer moving parts...). Would it just self-destruct immediately upon activation?

Made it to the end.
I was hoping he would run away with her and it would turn out that the whole 9 years thing was bullshit somehow.
Still, I can't reconcile how I feel about giving into fate. I feel like if I were in the same situation I would never be able to let go of my bitterness.
Regardless, I enjoyed it.
