Is he a US citizen? Isn't he Columbian, or something?
It's lazier banter than I'm used to.
Uncharted 3 gives his backstory:made a ward of the state after his mother committed suicide. Father gave him up - I'd bet this comes back in a big way in Uncharted 4. Anyway it wasn't until after he ditched the orphanage that he made his way to Columbia.
He's probably American, and the dude likely owes some serious back taxes.

Amy Hennig already confirmed that he's half Colombian half unknown.
Is gamersyde going to be able to get a higher quality version?
yeah. I think that coming from elena and the villain would be both fine. any sort of nod expanding upon what lazarevic said before he croaked.Right, it wouldn't have to be "You killed 1200 people, Drake" but an extension of what was started with Lazarević in Uncharted 2could be interesting to explore."How many of my people have you killed, huh? Just today?"
Something like "You aren't entitled to this treasure any more that me. You try to kill us. We try to kill you. You aren't the 'good guy'".
he was born in colombia? His ethnicity is Colombian, but he could still be a US citizen.
EDIT: Colombian isn't an ethnicity, but he's originally from there.
I thought marlowe called him an orphan, I interpreted that as both of his parents being dead. but it'd be interesting if his father is still there and shows up in Uc4 in some capacity.Uncharted 3 gives his backstory:made a ward of the state after his mother committed suicide. No kidding?
Curious to see if they stick with that since her departure from the series.
The writing though...
"stop shooting!"
"I hate this truck!"

Exactly.
"It isn't your treasure."
"But you sent people after me."
"But dude, it isn't your treasure."
I think Drake's ownership over a lot of the treasure he seeks is in his supposed ancestry, so that element of his internal justification could be interesting to analyse.

Looks stunning but the extremely scripted nature of the game means I'm just as happy watching as I would be playing.
As a fan of the series, I was hoping to see the series evolve into something greater as time went on. Maybe get some decent puzzles and boss battles for once but it seems Naughty Dog have decided to double down on set pieces.
I'm still very much looking forward to it but it's all a bit "style over substance" for me at the moment. Wiggle the analog stick to slightly move Nathan around during scripted scenes isn't winning me over in 2015.
I know all the uncharted games are stanalone stories, but I hope they bring back salem. there's not a lot of cool middle eastern characters in gaming, let alone entertainment out there.

im surprised no one has brought up that nate just killed tons of guys and then him and brother just laugh it off. Not that i give a fuck, because i want to play that right now.
Fair enough. I'd play an Uncharted 5 if Drake is on the run from the IRS.
Looks great. I hope they show some multiplayer at PSX or something.

If you were a fan of the series you'd realise the PSX gameplay is more indicative of what makes up 80%+ of the game.Looks stunning but the extremely scripted nature of the game means I'm just as happy watching as I would be playing.

sorry.
would you agree though?

It's like PSX demo doesn't exist.
