Shit game aside, I will at least say, nice trailer. (Winged eagle belt is still the best)
2k15 was supposed to be a new engine, but it wasn't and that's why they removed the match types, which were still in the game just not selectable.

Same engine, the transition was just to next gen.
They have apparently been going through and redoing a lot of animations but there weren't that many new ones in 2k15 next gen.
We shall see.

The two aren't remotely the same. NBA2K isn't trying to make anyone a star these days, thats not their problem. It just looks kind of sad when WWE does it because they're saying they don't have any stars these days on that level (which is accurate but still).

The only downside is the whole licensing of the image and whatnots.
