Don't bet on it. He hasn't even been on the main roster yet. While I believe he's truly the future of WWE, he's not there yet.

I'd like to think they'll do some sort of NXT based alternate/reverse cover to go with it,since I'm sure NXT will be getting a pretty big representation in the game.

I love Austin the dude's a man's man and I hate he's gonna get caught in this crossfire but unfortunately you're right. Rollins, Reigns, Wyatt, any one of these stars should have had the cover or even shared it to get a little push, for a little more mindshare in fans hearts.

I hope the game is good, 2K15 was a disappointment, I think HCTP is still the best entry in the series.

He's the one being promoted the most so far for being in the game, if you're trying to appease the hardcores with the reverse cover, Finn seems to make the most sense.

Reigns and Wyatt don't deserve to be on there right now and it's weird to have a heel like Rollins on the cover. Only current wrestler that people would be ok with being there is Lesnar. But even that is iffy.

Im no Cena fan, but Cena is really the only full time star the WWE has right now. But I guess they don't want to put him on there so soon again.

Then again, it's just a videogame. It doesn't matter. Put Kane or the Big Show on there. Who cares.

to be fair reigns was pushed to the gill, crowds and the internet turned against him... Wyatt is a lost cause at this point... he'll lose to reigns, disappear to obscurity come back with awesome promos then oversell the promos and lose to whoever he goes against.

rollins is HWC, he's beyond the need to be pushed.

an NXT superstar should have been thrown in
 
I love Stone Cold, but c'mon the guy hasn't wrestled in nearly 13 years. It should have been somebody like Seth Rollins or Brock Lesnar.
 
Legend on the cover, reports of 120 individual characters.

Potential for a massive legends roster? That could be enough to draw me back in.

They ain't going to sell shit though are they. I can't think of one of my friends who doesn't know who Austin is. I can't think of very many who know any of those you've named above are though.

For anyone doubting the ”largest roster ever” tag line for WWE 2k16, let us you assure you, that we are bringing over 120 unique playable Superstars and Divas to the game. Now when we say unique, we’re not counting the repeats like 5 John Cena models, or 8 Mark Henry models. As you can imagine, these models are keeping us crazy busy, but it is worth it.
