I think she has potential, if they do a Birdei-style redesign with her, design and moveset wise. I'd also ask them to tone down the fanservice but I know they won't.

FGC cats calling the rumors bullshit because of Karin. I do remember there were some legal issues with some manga artist about her rights, but nothing is set on stone right? Maybe Capcom's layers did their job and got Karin back

I'd just rather they updated R.mika instead of trying to get all over her stuff to work just like Alpha. Birdie, Dictator, and Nash are very different so, I don't see a reason why they couldn't update Mika's design and move set. Honestly, her Alpha design is hella anime, I'd like something more real wrestler than anime wrestler, lol

On that note, I have this sudden urge to watch Metal Fighter Miku. Powered Suit pro-wrestling, lol

Hops right over them when spaced correctly, no? Birdie's gains him V-meter, punishing the opponent for sitting full screen and letting them chug. This is clearly not a game where traditional SF2/4 zoning is supposed to be a thing.

Spin Knuckle goes right through them as well.
 
Again, not a Karin, but I hope she gets revealed at some point, just to see people's reactions! Some people would lose. their. shit.

Imagine Topanga TV the day after her release! Mago would be wearing a skirt and crying the whole time
 
Been a while since I've played Alpha 3 so checked out some gifs of Karin in motion and gotta say, she was pretty well animated. SFV's animators would probably do well with her.

aside from the lewd issues, I;ve always been a fan of R. Mika as a character.

a cheery super woman who is a grappler. wears a silly costume. and has goofy wrestling based movesets. her hairstyle is eye-catching.

her storyline of being a major gief fan is also endearing.

not everything has to be waifu shit.
 
Both alpha characters announced so far were revamped, so you can expect the other ones to have the same treatment

I'm OK with this, I'm not OK with revamping 3s characters tho

You say that like their alts won't be pandering to fetishes either. Hell, I'm part of the problem: I would totally pay $8.95 for Karin in a maid uniform. Would that make any sense? No, but it's not like that matters. :p

I would be OK with good redesigns for both characters, though. The only problem with that is Capcom's didn't do the best job with that in SF4, and most of the reworks in SF5 have been relatively minor from a visual design standpoint (if that).
 
Alex has the same problem as Remy, he's a design that doesn't work in 3S, heh. I like his moveset though, they just need to change it a bit in some spots.

People used to cite the same reason for Strider not coming back in Marvel 3. Plus Karin was in Namco x Capcom, so I really doubt it's an issue.

By the time it goes over, they've recovered. It's useless for that purpose
 
If Capcom adds Urien, Alex, R.Mika, and Karin to SFV, it would be the GOAT.

R.Mika with some 2015 thickness gonna have people pre-ordering like crazy. Hope they have something cool to announce tomorrow.
 
If SF5 has Mika and Remy, I'd be thrilled. I don't even care who else is in

But hell, I already have the game preordered so I'm stuck with it no matter what.
 
Virtua fighter 4 evo works in the new pcsx2 nightlies if you guys are wanting to try it out. I remember someone posting about it earlier.
