There was a moment some time around or just before they started doing the Battle Royales where promotion just went away completely for Curlehs. From streams, websites, everything. They started becoming more frequent, tacked onto existing events, etc. Lost a bit of it's luster IMO, even though it's almost always a good time. I would like it if it became more of an annual thing to build up to.

Yeah, especially with every single Battle Royale I can think of having completely absurd run times and scheduling issues.

Do one, maaaaybe two CM's a year. Maybe one additional one as a Battle Royale if he really wants to keep trying those.

Agreed. I generally hate team tournaments because they end up being a slog at one point or another, and being at the mercy of other tournaments going on simultaneously doesn't help either.

There should be one for the West Coast pre-EVO when Yipes can make it out there, and one for the East Coast during the Winter IMO.

Yeah I think the super frequent Battle Royales tacked onto whatever major hurt the "brand" a little bit. Definitely stopped seeming like something special
