I swear everytime that gets reposted it loses more and more quality
I'm watching the ESL finals and it's amazing how little energy there is in the crowd or from the commentators. It sounds like they're doing the evening news.
I don't need (or want) them shouting every three seconds, but if the commentators and crowd don't care about the games, why should the viewers?

I know who she is but what am I missing here"A shoryuken! Something with Kayo Police"
Yeah, might as well never go in that thread again
Event seems hella small.yea I feel like it's a little too... timid in production.
It's OK, but I think this one is king right now. Works much better at it's job. The SF one is too long.
the sf one is an extended recut of the original
I wonder if all of their events are like this.ESL is making me lmfao at how terrible it is.

I always wanna participate in these threads, but I usually attend EVO so it becomes pointless.![]()
More of a rhetorical one. Embrace the eeeeeeeeeeeee-sports.Is this a trick question?

Ultra ps4 anyone?
ok halp
I've played tons of T7 games now but they've all been online. Anyone know how to play against the player infront of me (opposite cabinet)?
Any videos to see what things I should be pressing?
Missed this. Good read, though I hope it is less moblike than his plans for a million people to show up in the auditorium as that might reinforce their perspective.
Whats your psn?
But I saw two people playing against each other two days agoPretty sure you can't.

Speaking of fighting game commentary, I don't know how many people saw the leaked commentary notes for WWE commentators a while back (and the Reddit thread for it), but I haven't seen it mentioned here yet. Most of the advise actually seems reasonable and applicable, and would probably be useful for anyone looking to do FGC commentary.
So when's Curleh?

Def trying to fill up some spots for curleh guys since a good amount isn't showing up! We will figure it out once I'm at UGC
Dead game is dead...I was just assuming it would start at around 5 or 6pm. But this doesn't look good:
From Yipes FB page.
Scouring it even more, Sam mentions that the tourney should start around 4pm PT.

Might have been better holding this curley mustache in Vegas.Timing was terrible- everyone is packing for EVO.

Plus there was absolutely minimal promotion.
Seemed like Yipes/Persia/Spooky are just mailing this one in.

Oh my god its happening...the furry vs the ego WHO YOU LIKE?!
There was a moment some time around or just before they started doing the Battle Royales where promotion just went away completely for Curlehs. From streams, websites, everything. They started becoming more frequent, tacked onto existing events, etc. Lost a bit of it's luster IMO, even though it's almost always a good time. I would like it if it became more of an annual thing to build up to.Yeah, even with the long history of most Curleh's getting little to no promotion this one is especially bad, and I don't even know a single notable player going, only seeing people say they aren't going to be there. The timing on this one was really bad.
