So he has his fallback in case anyone calls him out. Shame.

Right on cue:

What can he be called out on? People thought he was going to get mopped up because he basically didn't go to shit this year to face the comp. However he still got 4th and made some money. That is an accomplishment.

Something about abegen makes people fear his team, i dont get it
Like every other team in the game, if it hits you your character will die and then you will have to eat a 50/50 on incoming that can also lead into a dead character.

Plus people want to play extra careful because they are less familiar with some of the finer tricks of the team.

Also She Hulk on anchor is no joke at the hands of Abegen.

The people he lost to both went to CEO, a tournament he ducked in order to practice fornESL. He's been ducking tournaments since the game came out, while other players have been traveling to get better. He was never going to beat Sonic FOX or Two with the amount of offline practice he had.

Thats true, the thing is, you really shouldnt be getting hit by anyone in his team. A solo doom, mag, zero, etc should pretty much be able to handle the whole team by themselves and keepaway. But Abegen always finds a way to land a hit, dude just has perfect control of his team.

There's a lot of things that should never happen in the game but they happen anyway.

There's no way a Hulk should touch Morrigan but he does a lot and plays like Jan/KBR can win over ChrisG.

If you get a hard read in this game then you can certainly win big.

Pretty much, this is marvel after all. Shit just happens.
lol

Marvel is the highest-skill Capcom game right now.
Justin Wong is the best at it.

So it must be true.

ROFL @ Kype "XF1 BIONIC ARM" P.

Not a single fuck was given in that set.

OF COURSE... the only two Thor players have to each other this early in the bracket...

I'm not understanding how you can put this tourney as a negative for him. Yes he lost to REO and SonicFox, but who actually thought he would get as far as he did against competition who actually travel? Not many people did yet he still got 4th all while ducking tournaments this year. That shows his skill and how much of a threat he is in MK.

I.... Uh... What?

I think I'm probably done playing SF4 for good, don't want to keep the bad habits that SF4 makes you learn before SFV comes out.

I know if I go back I'm just going to get worse at fighting games in general. Most likely sticking to XRD and smaller fighting games going in to SFV.

ESL is definitely a plus for him.

But he's sponsored by Razer and he can afford to do both major tournaments as well as ESL. The truth is he's just a weasel rodent punk who has the mental toughness of a grapefruit. It's easy to dislike him and a lot of folks in the scene gravitate towards that end. He has no clue how to fix his image so all we can do is point and laugh when he flames out.

Their spanish is so bad at times lol
Oyeme, pero callate!

Eggs-celent.

(seriously tho SF4 makes you bad at psychological play in fighters)

I understand this part, I want to get better at Ultra, but I feel a lot of the set play in this game is counter tunitive for me.

Edit: ESL announced a season 2 for MKX. I really hope they do more offline events instead of the mostly online tournaments they did this season. Watching MKX online hurts.

PL did nice for himself placing 4th, but he had no reason to duck those other tournaments. He only hurt himself by not gaining experience against those other players. People can still see how he plays since he's playing online. And part of being sponsored is to give your sponsor exposure, not by sitting at home getting blown up on Twitter. We'll see how he does at EVO.

ESL:"You just won the first season of MKX and $60,000! Who do you want to thank?!"

Sonic FOX: Shout out to Skull Girls!

Lol.

I love him more and more <3
Bring more people to that game. Hopefully if Lab Zero keeps being quoted as a people's champ from top players they'll get hired to do some licensed work someday. The things I wish they'd get their hands on...

"How do you feel after winning this tournament and $60k?"

"Yeah it's awesome and everything but I'm looking forward to my runback against MIT at EVO next weekend, I hope it happens"

this dude just won $60k and is thinking about a runback? Now that's a true competitor, good shit"
