Fighting Games Weekly | Jul 6-12 | Freuds Among Us

Hi guys. Anyone here got sf4 on ps4 in uk?

Whats it like getting games and is everyone super good or is there a mix.

I have the game on pc but when ever i tried playing online it was the same few people in europe and it got laggy now and then.

If there are a decent amount of players in uk and varied skill levels i might just get it on ps4. Kinda getting bored of MK and its dial a combo juggling and teleports etc

Theres a good mix of very good to very new players tbh. Seems like better population than PC too.

So tomorrow's Monday~

I'm posting this right now in case many get shocked or saddened by the new spotlight :p

For that matter, EVO's in a week's time, but I might not watch most of it due to work XP
To anyone going there, have fun and take lots of pics of Ono's cosplaying.

God dayum I am continually reminded how garbaggio BB char design is.

They're too safe, there's like a handful of good designs, but these 2 new male characters are so uninspired and dull, I don't think even their characterization/personality will make me change my opinion of them.

Awesome thanks. I bought it anyway. Mkx rekindled my love for fighters and due to lack of time and intetest in most games now im prob gonns just focus on my gav genra from my youth. Just gonna play mkx and sfiv if i wanna play something.

That's not jubei :(
You're probably going have to wait on the console release and pay $8.95 for him. On the plus side, they'll "accidentally" make him Ivan Ooze tier in the original release, where the patch brings him down to only S+ tier (and then BBCFEX makes him trash).

I hear this a lot from people but I feel like instead of it being a commonly held view on it, there are different issues people take with their designs.

BB char design feels to me like they wrote a bunch of character design tropes on shreds of paper and then grabbed them out of hat. It's not "we have a core idea, let's build upon it" but rather "we need: loli + vampire + secretly 1000 years old girl" or "we need: comically overconfident + ninja + uses random object as a weapon" etc etc. Entire thing feels like they're trying to appease as many bizarro fetishizing otakus as possible.

Yup, I'm doing the same thing and focusing on my favorite genre after trying out most type of experience out there (FPS and TPS, wrpg, jrpg and arpg, action, adventure, racing, sports, etc). Streaming actually increased my interest since we can watch the pros often and there's so much knowledge waiting to be discovered on the web.

Harada on TxSF:

In terms of game progress, it would seem quite a bit of the game could be called complete. Harada states, "It might look like we haven't made any progress at all, but we actually have the character lineup fully decided, and polygon models, moves and the system are fully done as well."

Haha I actually know Gojira irl from the Utah scene.

Couple months ago I apparently told somebody that he sucked and he couldn't handle it and made a bunch of photoshopped images of me and there was a big thread in the Facebook group about how he was going to money match me with like 200 posts. It was hilarious.

He's actually pretty cool though.
