I've just realised the reason that Joker has all those silver teeth fillings will be because in this universe him and Batman have been going at it for so long that he's probably had his face punched in countless times.


Still don't like it or the tattoos personally, but I understand it a bit more now, I thought they were literally just giving him silver teeth because they thought it looked cool or something.

He's 99% going to be the main villain. DC can't sell a movie on these villains without The Joker and Batman. Bats is confirmed to be in the film for an entire car chase scene with HQ and the Joker, and will probably also be the one to put them all away in the end.

While I think overall Smith will do a decent enough job of Deadshot. It's tough because he such a recognizable figure. You'll always see Will Smith before Deadshot? If that makes sense.

I know Deadshot is like a gun for hire. From what I gather in this trailer. Is not really a bad guy in the pure sense of the phrase. Clearly he has a daughter. So I would assume he's a morally conflicted character

As far as comparison to Ledger, I think Leto is going for a different type of Joker. Ledger's Joker was crazy, but in a controlled sense. I get the vibe from both his design and his mannerisms in this trailer that Leto is going for more of an unhinged crazy Joker.

And there's nothing really distinct about Harley's design that means you'd need a particular type of female actor. It's just white face paint and some kind of dual colour scheme.

I agree with that. Uneven is a characteristic problem of David Ayer's stuff, and I really like a lot of his work. Fury in particular is one of my favorite films in general.

I think he will do fine. Deadshot requires swag and Smith has tons of it. And he;s likable, which considering how much of an asshole this character can be is a very good thing.

Plus what gives me plenty of hope for this is that his mask covers his face completely. Like it should. So they're not going on some sort of ego-trip with Smith here.

Glad I can actually see what's going on now. It does look a lot better than I thought it would. I still can't stand how Joker looks but Leto himself will likely do just fine. Also hot damn Harley.
