Joker is really giving me the vibes of Batman RIP Joker:

I'm totally okay with this.

So we've seen an eyeball mask, Goat mask, Batman mask and panda suit

This would make for some killer Payday 2 DLC or something

Margot reminds me of mid-90s Sharon Stone, especially in the car scenes.

Hnnnggggggg Casino's Sharon Stone...
Maybe you saw Wolf of Wallstreet, that Scorsese movie that she was in where she basically acted like Sharon Stone did in Casino.
Not that that's a bad thing. I liked Wolf and I liked her in it.

Awesome! Yay for leaks!

Will Smith basically playing himself but as Deadshot is part of why I like the casting so much. And this is coming from a big Deadshot fan.

Not getting the Harley hype. I don't know anything about the character

Is she nailing the portrayal or is this just everyone fawning over a good looking woman?

Joker has never been 'random.' He's just aware that he's fictional and everyone else in that universe is fictional, so to that end he might as well be whatever the times ask him to be.

Well, from the looks of it, right now they're asking him to be a serious take on an extreme '90s character.

I don't know the comics but I wasn't expecting something so serious.I thought it be like a bunch of crazies doing crazy missions or something.

This is precisely why I'm into this movie. I don't actually know much at all about any of these characters, outside of Joker and Harle of course(film/tv/reading about them), but this just looks fresh to me, coming off so many of those damn MCU films.

This trailer really sells the whole seedy underbelly, grimy and dark and street level criminal world of the DC verse in a way no other Batman movie ever did.

I think having this feel more like a movie set within a world of superheroes, rather than be a superhero movie itself is kinda genius, The amount of world building this achieves in regards to establishing a cinematic universe in just a single film is brilliant.

From the moment WB brought in Ayer to helm Suicide Squad, I think that gave people a pretty clear idea with what they were going to do with the film. If you've seen End of Watch or Fury (I recommend both), you know that Ayer's films have a very particular kind of look and feel to them. He specializes in dirty, often-times disturbingly realistic imagery.

Whether or not those rumors suggesting that the DCCU would be more director-friendly than Disney/Marvel are true at all, Ayer's style is showing in spades with this trailer.

I really think it's because they aren't superheroes. They aren't your typical good guys. They literally go on Suicide missions. With it being set int he DCU I really think this movie will work. You have Harley, Joker, Deadshot which most people know. Then you have the other characters that aren't all too well known.

I'm not expecting to break box office records but I think it'll do quite well for itself especially coming out months after BvS. It doesn't hurt Batman and Joker have at least small roles in this.

Harley in the trailer doesn't have the voice, but I still like the characters look, and Margot Robbie is talented, and will do good stuff, I have no doubt (and yes, she's very good looking)

The "So we're like a ... Suicide Squad" line didn't bother me too much, actually.

It's seemed like reflecting on the fucked up situation he's in.

"So we're like a.....suicide squad, huh?"

-Will Smith in 'Suicide Squad'
That's because it's not called Suicide Squad. It's Taskforce X. Most recently in many medias it's been Deadshot who comes up with the Suicide Squad name (same in Arrow). I'm glad they're keeping up with this in movie.

I've seen every thing Ayer has done, and I'm not a huge fan. End of Watch was pretty good, Fury was decent, and everything else is throwaway. He's certainly capable.

What other superhero movie has Viola Davis and Jared Leto playing main characters?
Too much talent in this place.

Really? Seems to be inspired by Scott Snyder's Joker if anything.

Hardly. There were some photos of Jared Leto that led people to believe he'd have a similar, 'mohawk-y' hairstyle, but he doesn't in the film.

He barely has anything in common with Scott Snyder's Joker based on what we've seen. Actually, that's unfair. There's a set video where he has similar mannerisms, but everything else seems like a unique take on the Joker, one I'm not too fond of so far.

Firstly, Adrian... you son of a bitch.

Secondly, right on. If anything this is the Arrow version played by Will Smith. I for one hope he snarks throughout the entire film between action sequences.
