Ledger's Joker was more of a brilliant madman, but he was not a terrifying looking madman like Leto's Joker is. Which is why I think I will buy into this Joker more. And who knows? We might even get some of that brilliant and calculating side with this Joker as well.

This version seems based off of the Arkham Origins version (which I loved), but more realistic, which I don't think works as well.

Full on Croc-man and embracing that is best.

Harley being in Supermax isolation like she's Hannibal Lecter is stupid.

Looks OK, better than the grainy leak. Still a lot of complaints about it, Will Smith looking miscast and the lack of Harley voice are notable ones though.

I really like that they're doing this is film, and I like some of the directors previous work but I'm just not feeling it jive just yet. Not sold on Leto either- don't know how anyone could be considering how brief it is, but the look is interesting, and I'm willing to be optimistic.

Had the same thoughts from the trailer with her looking out of place holding a bat but then again I don't know what she's capable of in the comics.

Also doubted Leto's Joker from the inital photos of him but his trailer reveal was surprisingly good.

...Now the long wait until August 2016.

Jacket Dan's face looks goofy. His lips look weird, his blue eyes aren't intimidating and his neon green hair is silly. And his villainous cackle is shit.

I do like the idea of him cycling through jackets as his superpower, and removing his jacket being a limit break (like for the torture scene). Those elements are interesting but I don't think the character is going to catch on.

Yep, got those teeth for a reason. My guess is Joker personalizes his body via tats after each altercation with Batman. Sort of a monument to his relationship with him.

I loved his take on the character, but I never felt terrified by the look. Jared Leto's Joker looks like someone who just escaped from a maximum security mental ward. He damn near has a possessed sort of look.

We need more context. If he made some bad decisions and gets confined with lunatics, it may make for a great story.

The same theme was used for the Thunderbolts back when it was released. In there, Baron Zemo was a wack job and beneath it all, he had a lot of people on his team who struggled with real issues, fell in love, and were genuinely looking for retribution.

So, in my view, it really depends on how the story is told. If he is flat out selling a villain as a good guy, then that won't work but the shot with he and his family seem to suggest he did something, or was framed for something, that was bad enough to get roped in with these other loonies.

Good points. I guess it is too early to say whether he's just playing Will Smith or if he's playing a normal dude who just happens to be in a bad situation.

It could be like Assault on Arkham where Deadshot was pretty much the only 'normal' guy and had a clear goal in getting in and out without any trouble and getting back to his family.

All his tattoos look like they are gone and he is wearing face makeup. The other clip has him with tattoos on his face and not nearly that shade of white in skin color, so that clip is a flashback to the creation of harley.

So the Joker is the main bad guy in the end of the movie, which is the pic above, culminating in a epic fight at the end in that building for whatever reason the Joker is there (Toxin production maybe?)

Also, check this pic. Looks like the Joker is the one driving with harley in the car that batman attacks? Perhaps the actual ending of the movie that leads into the next type thing? (Harley goes with joker)
