SD once and a while. Most people jump on the deals as quickly as they can and move on with their day, so you're depending on a kind GAFfer to take the time and make the thread, and they're not always the first ones in on it.

Yeah, this is going to cost them a lot more than those price mistakes though. Best you can hope for is them honoring 1 card per person. No way they are going to honor all the people who bought many and more multiples.

Did you bother to read anything besides the words on the picture cog the card? I guess I can see why you might be confused, but glancing a few millimeters down the page clears up any misconceptions.


IIRC They've had plenty of other "designer" cards, basically just spiffy colors or patterns, that work in all BBs.

most likely. There are currently almost 1k people in the cag thread.
lets assume between SD and here there is another 2k people making 3k people in general. That is not assuming any drive by people, but lets assume that each person ordered 5 cards which would make 15k cards or 3 million in gift cards that best buy will only get 225k for.

my estimate here is likely on the very low side given it's been up for almost an hour now.... but I can't imagine a company will eat over 3 million in order to honor an obvious mistake.

Best buy is pretty good about sending out sorry about cancelling your order things though, so we might still get like $5 in credit from this

they honor a lot of them them.

when they had the persona 3ds LE up for the price of the regular they ended up honoring it by sending out gift cards to make up the difference.

when they had a b1 get one 50% off deal and it ended up glitching into a get 50% off deal including preorders they honored most of those.

when they accidentally cancelled majorahs mask LE they ended up just sending them to the people free of charge.

It's nice to hear they honored some other deals. It can't hurt to order a couple, anyhow.
