I agree it's better than Mario Kart 64. Heck, even that Mickey Mouse kart racer on 64 is better than Mario Kart 64. But Diddy Kong rules them all for that gen.

I liked Double Dash better than any other, until MK8 came along. It is enough, if you like this kind of game, to justify the Wii U purchase all by itself.

I actually have Sonic Racing Transformed and never checked if it had the kart battle mode. I loved that in CTR. I liked CTR a ton, the SP and MP modes were very enjoyable.

Its the citizen kane of kart games. I dont want to know how much time ive spent with this game. We even had regular family-VS sessions every weekend for a decent amount of time. I think i still know most of the Tracks and the shortcuts.t

I really loved that game, but thats probably also due to the fact that i love crash bandicoot in general.

The best track in the game IMO-- N. Gin Labs.

You could get a ridiculous amount of boosting accomplished on that track, and it had plenty of cool little time savers all throughout.
