Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle released in the west for IOS and Android

You can see the list of characters in the Rare Character gatcha by hitting character list in the upper left corner of the main gatcha screen. There's 4 SSR characters, two different versions of SSJ Goku and SSJ Vegeta.

The Japanese version has much more, so there's plenty to come in the following months. In fact, the JP version even has Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku / Vegeta and Gold Frieza.
 
What I hate about rerolls is that you don't even know you'll actually keep playing the game once you have what you want.

I'd say the combat is easier because this is just turn based while OPTC is more focused on tapping on the right time for a perfect.

I figured as much. I just wish the tutorials were more dynamic instead of forcing you to press the right things so I could understand consequences better.

I feel you, they're even worse when you want to reroll to get a better starting unit Z_Z
 
Darn, my initial pull was Goku and he fit in a team with SS Goku, but they count as different characters, so when I got the event Goku, I was sad I couldn't put him in.
 
I'm getting multiple confirmations SSR is only AFTER the tournament, seems the first pull is just a free SR character for everyone.

K, any infos what would be a good sr start character? maybe something like kuririn who lowers enemy defense or kid gohan who can knoch back enemys?

This game's pretty alright so far. Gameplay seems simple and not very flexible but it's fun. I gotta SR Goku out of the gate so I'm good with that.

Purple characters are nice for the event bosses right now.
 
On some FB group: On first roll you can only get SR, finish tutorial and get second roll, if its not ssr, reroll.

It makes sense to me. In many of these games the first unit is usually one to add to your team. It teaches you how to form parties etc.

The meaning of SS Goku probably means that you are about to pull a rare card.
 
currently running two emulators at the same time....no ssr so far. i think i will stop for today and get him tomorrow...hope
 
With the second pull, don't bother when Goku isn't a SSJ with the aura surrounding him. If he's in base form, all you'll pull is a R character.
 
My pull was meh. I just started so I'm going to reroll until I get SSJ Goku or Vegeta. I wish Gohan or piccolo was in the gatcha.
 
Something about this game feels cheap.
I seem to like this type of game more if the experience is polished (like OPTC)

You are guaranteed SR from the first pull. The pull after that with gift stones is what people are rerolling for. Trying for SSR.
 
Anyone knows where I can download the apk?I can't download it from the playstore because it says my mobile is not conpatible

Praise the new day! Started with Android 16 and rolled Cui so was going to reset. Booted the game up and noticed day had ticked over and had new gifts. Decided to draw again before resetting and lo and behold, SSR Goku!
 
Hey guys, I'm trying to compile character info for all the current units. If possible, post screenshots of your character's info sheets. In particular, I really need the expanded view that lists the Character's Passive skill and Link skills.

For the initial pulls I have had SR with black hair gone and the SR with blonde goku. I think there are different tiers within SR.
