I honestly can't wait to see what everyone's alternate costumes will be. The new artstyle gives me hope that the majority won't be eye-searing like many of SFIV's were.

Haha, yeah. When they were teasing 'a new female character that'd appeared before but never been playable' (Decapre) I was kinda hoping it'd be Hakan's Wife or Effie XD

My expectation are very low so being trolled wouldn't surprise me. If they reveal 1 character or at least hint at a new character I'll be satisfied. If they do worse than that? Whatever, the game isn't going to come out any faster anyway.
For me:
Best case scenario - Reveals more about the Maori character and probably another.
Worst case scenario - I get to watch some more videos of SFV, regardless.
Win-win situation in my case.
They should add Ingrid in just for having the best and least weird design for what the character is. She isn't some cop wearing Chinese dress , adult wearing a high school uniform , some military person in leotard. Even though she is mysterious character , her design doesn't seem too out of the ordinary for anything. I have nothing against people that like those things though.
Her moveset could use some tweaks and some new things to make her feel fresh but before she was kinda like a weird version of Athena from KOF but with a counter to physical attacks that became a throw into the air that she could follow up into. Outside of the Athena like stuff , she did have some Spin and Twirl attacks that were pretty much her own. Still Ingrid had countering going for her and she also had a super version of her counter that if her opponent is trapped into ray of light , they would take a considerable amount of damage and unlike regular version they didn't have to hit you at all to activate it. I know I am probably forgetting some other things but I don't have Alpha 3 nowadays. There was also that weird magical fireball explosion super that she did throw out but I am not sure if it was similar to what Dhalsim's Ultra in Street Fighter IV is but its not like they play the same in general.
She really isn't a character that is in Street Fighter IV or V in any way for what she offered. I'd like Capcom to give her another shot but I am not really putting too much hope into it. Japan likes her a bit but she isn't liked too well elsewhere.

With a teaser at the end for a returning character (either Karin or R. Mika)

Juri is stronger than Chun. They're evenly matched but with FSE on Juri just one shots her in the anime.

Absolutely. The only question is when. I do find it hard to believe that it'll be during that panel. Unless they're going to do two at EVO. One there and then one during the Grand Finals. The GF are an obvious place because it's going to have well over 100k people watching it.

That was onstage. It'll be at the panel- Ono said as much on twitter. It lets them talk about the new guy in depth while they have time free from Fri/Sun play.

I can imagine the new character being revealed during the panel and a Urien hype video being revealed during the finals. People will go crazy.

Don't forget that Yun and Yang are absurdly powerful in-universe by the time of Third Strike. They manage to battle Gill to a standstill in their ending, which canonically means that they're at least on his level if not slightly below it.
That's because Gill is not that powerful, I wouldn't put in any strongest fighter list tbh, the only reason he seems strong is because he can resurrect. Dudley and Alex manged to beat him as well.
