He probably will be DLC. I doubt he'll be in the initial roster.. But Capcom has plenty of FF characters that haven't seen the light for a while (or ever) that they could pick from too... I don't think any characters who were in SFxT (or very late to SF4) won't be seen in SF5 for a while (unless they are super popular maintsays).

That's because Gill is not that powerful, I wouldn't put in any strongest fighter list tbh, the only reason he seems strong is because he can resurrect. Dudley and Alex manged to beat him as well.

According to the plot guide, Gill threw the fight with Yun and Yang because he respected their fighting ability. Against Urien, he tried to throw the fight and still won :\

I'm not sure about Alex, but it seemed pretty clear that dudley won against gill fair and sqaure.

If Dudley could beat Gill then any character who's as strong as Dudley easily has a shot.

I don't recall Yun/Yang ever beating Gill in any of the endings, just putting up a good fight, even if he did manage to beat him, it's not that impressive because Gill is not that strong anyway.

I tell you I was so confused when I saw her in my Alpha 3. I've been playing Alpha 3 since the PSX release, one of my favorite fighters ever.

Got the Alpha collection for PS2 and Alpha 3 Max for my PSP, her design just threw me off.

They should add Ingrid in just for having the best and least weird design for what the character is. She isn't some cop wearing Chinese dress , adult wearing a high school uniform , some military person in leotard. Even though she is mysterious character , her design doesn't seem too out of the ordinary for anything. I have nothing against people that like those things though.

Her moveset could use some tweaks and some new things to make her feel fresh but before she was kinda like a weird version of Athena from KOF but with a counter to physical attacks that became a throw into the air that she could follow up into. Outside of the Athena like stuff , she did have some Spin and Twirl attacks that were pretty much her own. Still Ingrid had countering going for her and she also had a super version of her counter that if her opponent is trapped into ray of light , they would take a considerable amount of damage and unlike regular version they didn't have to hit you at all to activate it. I know I am probably forgetting some other things but I don't have Alpha 3 nowadays. There was also that weird magical fireball explosion super that she did throw out but I am not sure if it was similar to what Dhalsim's Ultra in Street Fighter IV is but its not like they play the same in general.

She really isn't a character that is in Street Fighter IV or V in any way for what she offered. I'd like Capcom to give her another shot but I am not really putting too much hope into it. Japan likes her a bit but she isn't liked too well elsewhere.

Heh, understandable. I like the whole sailor moon schtick she's got going visually but it does stand out like a sore thumb in SF :3

To be honest, I think she's Streetfighter's 'Cthulhu', especially when you consider that her 'gifts' often have a habit of destroying whoever uses them like Pandora or Psycho Power

Heh, not all that familiar with Hidetoshi Ishizawa outside of him making Rolento and being involved in devil may cry and stuffs, though I have heard at least one amusing story:

when Arnold Tsang was drawing the Arcadia cover Ishizawa kept rejecting it,
telling Tsang to redraw her face a number of times before it finally got
his approval. He kept telling Studio Udon to make her look "Cute and sexy!"
And of course Studio Udon was like, "What the heck does that mean?"

So... with the clock ticking I feel like it'd be fun to see what people are thinking could happen. Assuming that, in addition to revealing Maori-kun, they either tease or outright reveal a returning character, which single fighter do you think would be most likely? Note I'm not asking which you WANT them to reveal but which you think they WOULD ;D You're only allowed one character guess and if anyone is right then they get to feel proud of their premonition skills or the fact they're a dirty insider who knew the answer all along

That makes it sound more like we're going to get more info on the rest of the game rather than a new character reveal. The character reveal makes a lot more sense to be done on stream right before the GF.
