What are the moves in fighting games that make you go "holy crap!"? And to make this interesting, let's not use mortal kombat because that is way way too easy. Let some other games get the spotlight in here! Like Def Jam: Fight for NY! This game has blazin' moves, powerful moves that can either knock off a lot of health or finish your opponent. Some of the moves in that game are nasty. Don't believe me, then watch this:

I came in here to say this game and thankfully I wasn't the only one. I wish I was able to get my hands on 2 but was never able to. The title theme still plays in my head from time to time as well as Larcen's theme, great ost all around to be honest.

Ralf's Umanori Vulcan Punch has been in my head recently. Entirely because of the awkward sprite choices they go with to illustrate how the final punch is eaten. I think it's meant to be comical but my brain insists on trying to fill the animation gap.

Some of the throws in Tekken are especially brutal. The one that always comes to mind first is one of Hwoarang's side throws. He kicks the opponent in the ribs, and then the head, snapping their neck.
