I watched Nightcrawler again, Leto is a mighty fine choice for the Joker but Gyllenhaal would've been a nice pick too!

If you're looking for a quirky villain, then he'd make a very good Riddler.I watched Nightcrawler again, Leto is a mighty fine choice for the Joker but Gyllenhaal would've been a nice pick too!

That's roughHis history in the squad:
"he discovers his talent for strangling is useless against robots" is a hell of a thing.
The initial Suicide Squad trailer rocketed to the top of the weeks rankings with an impressive 50.9 million views in its first week, according to streaming media monitoring firm Zefr.
Those numbers compare favorably to Avengers: Age of Ultron (50.6 million in the first week) and Jurassic World (53.9 million), but still trails Stars Wars: Episode VII (58.2 million).
Dang finally saw the trailer from beg to end... very nice.
I like the dark and grittiness of it.
Suicide Squad vs Avengers anyone?
Don't know how they arrived at those numbers. I count more views for both DC trailers on the official youtube and facebook posts alone. For those stat-trackers at home
For the week

Quick numbers from the last few minutes:
BvS Trailer
35,228,742 Youtube views
19,957,129 Facebook views
55,185,871 Total views
SS Trailer
37,128,782 Youtube views
19,598,807 Facebook views
56,727,589 Total views
I am amazed Suicide Squad has got the number of views it did and is surpassing BVS. Not that I think that will be the case in the Box Office. Suicide Squad will be lucky to cross 500 million.
So what is the deal here?
I am happy that Suicide Squad is gonna be pretty popular when it comes out, even though I was skeptical of it working as a movie.
Is it the Joker that is drawing people in?
Or/and that it's a different type of team-up movie?
If only crossovers were this easy.Suicide Squad vs Avengers anyone?
Really nice for Suicide Squad. For those stat-trackers at home
For the week

You're definitely in the minority there. The song choice is smart in that it's catchy, lyrically in line with the Joker and Harley Quinn, and is a haunting version of a song much like Suicide Squad is a twisted take on the genre. The way it builds up as the action does really works and amounts to a very strong first impression, as evidenced by all the views....Okay, this is a weird case where I'm conflicted on a trailer.
I like everything I saw of the actual movie.
But I hate the pretentious musical choice. It doesn't work at all. It's not just the softness, it's also how the music swells up "inspirationally" at certain points and never communicates the grittiness of the visuals. And the dissonance could work, but not with all the action beats that happen in the trailer.
So it's not a bad trailer because it makes me want to see the movie, but it's an annoying one with some really jarring decisions.

It's not going to be rated R.
Every 5 or so pages it comes up.

I feel like the trailer would have half as many views if it didn't have Joker in it. Every time I've seen this movie mentioned by friends or on TV, it's 90% about Leto as as Joker. And people are already gobbling it up online. I'm betting a lot of people check this out just to get a glimpse of Mr. J.
I wonder how WB is going to market that.

40m views -_- The Joker and Harley hype is off the rails from what I've seen. -_-
Well it's also a really well made and cut trailer.
Much better than any of the Batman v Superman trailers.
Margot Robbie's HQ will actually be the thing people are talking about now and what they will talk about after the movie gets released. Poor Leto, he's actually not going to make the impact he wanted here.
Sounds like a dream cooked up by a Margot Robbie fan to me. There's a reason every trailer thumbnail has the 5+ seconds of Leto's appearance. It might as well be called "Joker: The Movie" at this stage.
I think she will shine the most since she will have more panel time, but there is no way Leto is not going to come out of this looking like a fucking stud. An amazing actor like him getting Mr J's role is going to mean only greatness. It's very, very likely he plays a huge role in the 2019 Batman film.Margot Robbie's HQ will actually be the thing people are talking about now and what they will talk about after the movie gets released. Err what? Hardy pulled out since he was filming another movie that was pushed back. He complained recently regretting that he couldn't be part of it.That's what Tom Hardy thought.
