Street Fighter V Beta Access Codes (Gamestop Preorder Information)

Amazon.ca buyer, and just got my code
had to do Live Chat, and they said they apparently already sent the code, but I never got the e-mail
So the person just copied the code from my alleged e-mail and sent it over to me
 
Why are people cancelling their orders? Wouldn't waiting be a better option?
I ordered at 11 PM last night. Its been 12 hours no code. Still a couple days left so I guess I'll wait it out and contact support if I still don't get it by then

Because they seem to be prioritizing new preorders over old preorders for some reason. People who are waiting are still waiting, and people who canceled are getting them in minutes, myself included.
 
So i chatted with amazon.ca customer service and this is what they said. Just be patient

Sakina: Thank you, just one moment.
Thank you for waiting.
I have checked and I that yes , you should be receiving the code, however, according to the details we have here, you will receive the code after the 20th of July.
Me: ok so some time after today?
Sakina: So, either by the end of the day or tomorrow, you should be receiving

I preorderd a while ago and so far nothing. So when I heard our US cousins we're getting their codes I figured I'd be smart and order from Amazon US and I got my code.

However, it doesn't work. I could change my region and try again but it's possible SFV is region locked and It'd be a lag fest.

SONY AND CAPCOM: If you're reading this please remember your UK and EU PS4 gamers who signed up for the beta.

Cool, thanks for the info. I haven't received my amazon.ca code yet, but it's good that we've got a clear answer. Haven't gotten my code for the amazon.com order yet, either (it's been about 40 minutes), though I hope I don't end up with 2 codes.
 
I just got one. Do NOT use one click orderinng. I never got a confirmation email when order was placed. Reordered normal way, got the code within 10m.
 
Just pre-ordered PS4 physical copy from Amazon. Now I patiently wait for my beta code.
I wish my PS3 stick would work with this though...freaking excited regardless cause it's Street Fighter 5! AaaaAAAAaaa
 
hey, does anyone know if there will be lobbies that your friends who are also in the beta can join to play against you or if its just going to be random matchmaking like ranked matches?

I believe it's basically just:

character select, go into training mode, where you wait until a match is found.

no friends list or lobbies or invites or local play.

Thanks for the tip! Waited over 2 hours after 1-clicking it. Canceled and ordered the normal checkout method and got the code in minutes
 
If you Preordered digitally on PSN you should not need a code.

Gamestop Codes have not been sent out.

Amazon US and Canada Codes should already be available if you don't have them check spam or make sure they have the right email address.
 
I'm still at work but it's kind of ridiculous that I preordered the day SFV went up and didn't get a code when new orders are. They better not run out.

Is the game active already?
 
I have a $10 promotional discount at Amazon I didn't know I had. If I preorder this and cancel later, will I lose that $10?
 
Pre-ordered months ago on Amazon and haven't received anything.

Made a new pre-order on Amazon and received my code just now (for my second order)

Then canceled my new pre-order.
 
Gamestop hasn't sent shit. Gonna go with Amazon.

By the way, you think we can game the system by just going to character select, going to training mode, and then turning off our internet so we can just sit and practice?
